Deere and Kramer chalk up a deal for telehandlers

John Deere has announced an investment in Kramer-Werke GmbH in order access material handling equipment for distribution through the John Deere dealer network under the Kramer badge.

This strategic partnership will enable John Deere to provide its dealers with an extensive range of agricultural material handling solutions with a specific focus on hay, forage and broadacre production systems, as well as contractor solutions. The product range includes nine compact wheel loaders, four telescopic wheel loaders and nine telehandlers. All will be produced and developed by Kramer at Pfullendorf in Germany. Kramer-Werke GmbH is a Wacker Neuson SE company.

Under this agreement the John Deere dealer channel will be the preferred distribution partner for Kramer. The alliance will enable Kramer to leverage the industry leading John Deere dealer network in Europe, the CIS, North Africa and the Near and Middle East.
