Following the popularity of the HE-VA deep ripper line now worked by many local growers, well known industry identity Jorn Ib has expanded the range of HE-VA cultivators and they are proving ideal for our local conditions
Distributes under the company name Danmas, Jorn Ib has used his extensive knowledge of machines coming out of Denmark, to include deep rippers, disc cultivators, stubble contour disc rollers, subsoilers and combi-lift models, along with seeding toolbars.
Feedback from growers in regions where it is still dryer than normal, many are expected to deep rip so roots can penetrate the soil faster and deeper to absorb more soil moisture, capture more soil nutrients and improve yield.
HE-VA has a mighty reputation in the northern hemisphere for its ability to tackle new ground and work through hard pans and any soil that badly needs some aeration with a maximum depth of 700mm (27.5-in).
HE-VA deep ripper linkage machines come in both 3 and 4m (10 and 13ft) models so they can easily be transported around the paddocks for some quick and effective deep digging.
While trailed machines are available in either 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7m wide cuts.
They are fitted with a hydraulic tine break-out that automatically swings upwards to deviate from any obstacles in the soil and come standard with either 120mm (5-in) or 200mm (8-in) points with tungsten tip.
Both inclusion plates, and delving plates are also an option for the machine tines.
From the extended HE-VA range of models ready for delivery now are three-point sub tiller 3m and 3.5m rigid linkage mounted machine or as a 4m, 5m and 6m hydraulic folding linkage mounted or trailed machines.
Along with HE-VA disc roller contour models fitted with 510mm discs and available as rigid models from 2.25 to 3.25m widths, or 2-section folding models from 4.25 to 6.25 width, or the 3-section folding 7.75m working width disc roller.
One of the key functions of HE-VA models is the v-profile adjustable hydraulically roller mounted on the back of machine.
