Agfest Field Days Tasmania

In the paddock from 4 to 6 May 2023 and then in the cloud from 6 to 12 May 2023

Tasmania’s premier rural event Agfest Field Days is back in the paddock from 4 to 6 May
and then in the cloud with 24/7 viewing from 6 until 12 May 2023

Patrons will notice one big change for Agfest Field Days 2023, it is back into its regular timeslot of the first week of May, as compared to 2022 when the event was held in August.

Agfest 2023 will be held over Three days at the 96-hectare (229-acre) Quercus Park site near Carrick TAS from 4 until 6 May 2023, with gates opening from 8am to 4pm each day.

Then moves online to a Cloud based platform from 6 to the 12 May 2023, which provides further exposure of exhibitor brands, products and services.

Expect a huge crowd at Agfest 2023 as there are no longer density limits or capped numbers on events across the state.

What this means for Agfest is a large, free flowing crowd on site with minimal restrictions for patrons and exhibitors.

It is expected the confidence of the committee has in the 41st event extends to the exhibitors and is looking forward to receiving application online for consideration to be part of Agfest 2023, the 41st year.

It is a positive time for Agfest and Rural Youth as a whole. With so many great events lined up for 2023 including the Woolworths Young Farmer Competition hosted and run by Rural Youth, to individual club activities run out in the community – fundraising, hosting social events and lending a hand.

Passionate and hardworking Rural Youth volunteers have been proudly organising Agfest in Tasmania for 40 years and in 2023 will celebrate 41 years of Agfest.

Agfest 2022 will offer a broad range of exhibitors and several new features, including the return of an exciting and interactive program by the University of Tasmania and an expo of some of the best Tasmania hospitality, food and beverages by the Tasmanian Hospitality Association.

As well as the usual crowd pleasers such as the heritage agricultural machinery, sheep dog trials, livestock and the Agfest boat show.

The Three-day paddock event is recognised as one of Australia’s top three agricultural field days, injecting more than $25 million into the local economy each year and attracting in excess of 720 exhibitors and 63,000 patrons.

Agfest field days 2023 in the Paddock runs for three days from Thursday 4 May until Saturday 6 May 2023. Gates open from 8am to 4pm each of the three days at 415 Oaks Road Carrick TAS.

Agfest then moves to the Cloud on Saturday 6 May and runs until Friday 12 May where patrons can view the exhibitors 24/7 with no time restrictions.
