Elmore Field Days history and heritage

From humble beginnings in 1964, Elmore Field Days has gained recognition as one of Australia’s premier agricultural Field Days.

This is the result of decades of hard work and dedication from subsequent volunteer committees and sub-committees to ensure every event is even more successful than the last.

As a community owned and run, not for profit organisation, Elmore Field Days is focused on providing an unbiased service to agriculture and community with flow on economic benefit to regional areas.

Primary producers don’t rest on their laurels, and neither do we. With a strong commitment to innovation in all forms, Elmore Field Days constantly strives to make every event better than the last.

Our permanent site now has a developed cost approaching $2.5 million and is being continuously enhanced.

While we have grown, we have never lost sight of our original purpose – to give primary producers the opportunity to learn about the very latest in farming, and to give manufacturers the opportunity to display and demonstrate those innovations.

By staying true to these purposes, Elmore Field Days is as relevant today as it was more than 50 years ago

Enjoy 3 great days filled with exhibits to help grow your business, farm machinery demonstrations, livestock, tillage and cropping demonstration, ewe trials, live music, great food, kids activities, equestrian showcase, and recreation and leisure activities.

Location

Elmore is located on the junction of the Midland and Northern Highway in Central Victoria.

Approximately 2 hours from Melbourne CBD, half an hour from Bendigo and Echuca and 1 hour from Shepparton.

The Field Days are held at the Elmore Event Centre located at 48 Rosaia Road Elmore VIC. Just a few minutes drive east from Elmore along the Midland Highway.

No dogs are permitted. Exceptions made for Personal assistance Dogs.
