Dowerin Machinery Field Days will take on an invigorated and updated look when WA’s premier agricultural event hosts displays and activities in Dowerin on the 26 and 27 August 2026

The iconic Dowerin Machinery Field Days is set for another exciting year in 2026, with Rachel Nash stepping into the role of General Manager to lead the event forward.

Dowerin Machinery Field Days is Western Australia’s largest Agricultural Expo and ranks among the top three agricultural machinery events in the country.

Located in the Central Wheatbelt of WA, the event has grown steadily over the past 61 years and now welcomes more than 17,000 visitors annually. Exhibitor numbers are continuing to rise, reaching a record of over 700 exhibits.

Renowned for showcasing the latest in agricultural products and technology, the event has expanded to include lifestyle and small farming exhibits, cementing its position as one of the largest and most successful events of its kind in the state.

2026 promises another exciting year for the iconic Machinery Field Day, with the Dowerin Event’s Management team delivering a strong line-up of high-quality exhibits and family-focused entertainment.

Volunteers have been the driving force behind the successful Dowerin Machinery Field days to make it WA’s premier agricultural event held on the 26 and 27 of August in 2026

Attendees can expect to see the latest innovations in agricultural products and technology, along with quality agricultural services and advice, machinery, tools, four-wheel drives and camping equipment.

Building on a long and proud history, the event continues to unite the state’s agricultural industry, showcasing in a dynamic trade environment, the products and services that support the operations of farmers and primary producers.

In 2026 it is expected agricultural related products and services will represent over 50% of the exhibitor offering.

Dowerin brings togetherindustry leaders and decision makers from across the full agriculturalsupply chain – from agribusiness and machinery, to equipment, livestock, professional services, and providers of technologies.

Local farmers are often challenged with entries from far and wide to see who has the best livestock breeds and produce that will all be on display at the reinvigorated 2026 event running from 26 to 27 August

This hub extends beyond business

As well as bringing together a wealth of professional and industry connections, Dowerin Machinery Field Days unites people. For many, the event is an opportunity to reconnect with family and friends from across the region and beyond.

The exhibitor offering therefore extends beyond agriculture, encompassing a diverse range of products and services.

Previous visitor surveys indicate a broad demographic, with a quarter between the ages of 17 and 30 years, other prominent segments are families with children and adults aged 51 and over.

Visitors travel from far and wide with more than 60% coming from regional areas, plus interstate and some overseas travellers to the event.

Dowerin Machinery Field days brings together decision makers across the full supply chain from agribusiness to machinery, equipment, livestock, and providers of technologies all onsite at the event

Their key areas of interest include products for sale, machinery, food and wine, livestock and animal displays, demonstrations, presentations, and educational experiences.

The 2026 event will introduce a new site map and rezoning of areas to better accommodate the needs of exhibitor and visitors.

Applications for exhibition sites opened in early March and close mid-April each year.
