Agfest Field Days Tasmania

Agfest is a multi-award-winning agricultural and machinery field day event in Tasmania that has been proudly organised by passionate and hardworking Rural Youth volunteers for 40 years.
The four-day event staged near Carrick at Quercus Park is recognised as one of Australia’s top three agricultural field days, injecting more than $25 million into the local economy each year and attracting in excess of 720 exhibitors and 63,000 patrons.
Exhibitors from around Australia return each year to offer special deals on a wide range of products – from tractors and towels, to sheds and swimming pools, to woollen socks and water tanks, to chemicals and caravans, to lawn mowers and lice control, to boats and banking products, to pumps, plants and potato peelers.

The Agfest Committee comprises approximately 50 volunteers aged between 15 and 30 years. Being on the Agfest organising committee is a powerful training tool that provides diverse skills and experiences. It is a unique training ground with opportunity for swift personal growth and extensive leadership training for those involved.
In 2022, Agfest is set to return to the paddock in a new COVID-safe format from 24 – 27 August, as well as in the cloud from 27 August to 2 September 2022.
