In 2020, Lardner Park celebrates 53 years of hosting Farm World so this is one not to miss! Widely regarded as Victoria’s largest premier regional agricultural event, the four days attract more than 55,000 visitors and over 800 exhibitors, plus conference sessions, workshops, demonstrations, equestrian competitions, and great all round fun.
Professional farmers looking at equipment or wanting to attend our conference sessions – we’ve got you covered with both retail and trade! Farm World offers huge ranges and a serious focus on the latest in technology, equipment and information. Get up close and chat with the experts.
There’s plenty at Farm World for both urban pioneers and lifestyle farmers interested in small equipment, DIY passions, sustainable gardening and horticulture, and masses of must-have tools! We’ve got a great range of workshops in photography, food, crafts and well-being.
And we wouldn’t forget the great family day out with food, beverages, animal nursery, pony rides, competitions, masses of retail shopping and for many, one of the highlights at Farm World, Lardner Park is getting to see all the gorgeous animals, both large and small. We are thrilled that Farmer Darryl, after rave reviews in 2019, will be returning in 2020. Bringing over 100 animals you will see a menagerie of sheep, lambs, goats, kids, piglets, bottle fed calves, ducks, geese, hens and chickens, ducks and ducklings, fan tail pigeons, and so much more.
Farmer Darryl will entertain you with loads of facts and interesting insights such as – did you know pigs love belly scratches? And that the emu is the 2nd fastest running bird in the world? Make sure you gather around for story time where the kids (and adults) will be enthralled listening to Farmer Darryl as he tells the tale of Polly the Lorikeet and how she found her sparkle! Sing along with farm yard songs, join in with bottle feeding the calves, and feed and brush the cute and furry. Make sure you allow plenty of time to get lost amongst the faces of Penelope the Goat, Freckles the Piglet, Collingwood the Rabbit, the chooks – Mr & Mrs Cornflakes and the famous ‘Polly’ the lorikeet. Great fun and entertainment for all the family.
In 2020, the event will run from the 26-29 March, opening to the general public at 8.30am and closing at 4.30pm, excluding Sunday where the event closes at 4pm (the event will be during day light savings).
Farm World is run by Lardner Park, a not-for-profit organisation, that proudly hosts in excess of 150 events annually including Beyond the Valley, State Youth Games, World Jousting Championships and Tough Mudder. Lardner Park provides a picturesque setting on 120 hectares and is conveniently located just minutes from the townships of Warragul and Drouin, and just over an hour from central Melbourne.
With a multitude of site options available, Farm World offers businesses the opportunity to expand into new markets, boost revenue, connect with a diverse range of customers and significantly increase their brand awareness. The event offers invaluable brand exposure with publicity across television, radio, print, online and social media, reaching regional, state and national audiences.
SO COME ALONG AND CELEBRATE WITH US!
