Honda Australia management change opens a new era for extensive model range

Chris Schultz has taken over the role of general manager of Power Sports and Products at Honda Australia effective immediately

A progressive era has opened up for Honda Australia for their extensive product ranges in divisions covering motorcycles, power equipment and marine (MPE) following the appointment of Chris Schultz as General Manager of Power Sports and Products, effective immediately.

From 2008 to 2013, Chris Schultz had a long-standing relationship with Honda Australia, serving as the national sales manager of marine and engine (OEM) and general manager of power equipment and marine.

In 2008 Chris joined the Honda Australia Marine Division (MPE) to help strengthen the company’s position as a leading force in advanced technology and environmental efficiency, taking over the role of national marine manager.

With an active interest in boating as well as a number of watersports, Chris became a vital addition to Honda’s dynamic team in an action-packed period for the company as he played an instrumental role in the release of several popular engine models.

He has also held various general manager roles across sales, product planning, product management, marketing, vehicle operations and aftersales divisions within the industry.

His most recent role before his Honda appointment was as general manager of aftersales at Nissan Motor Corporation, where he spent almost 12 years in management positions within the organisation.

Before commencing work with Honda in July 2008, Chris Schultz fulfilled the role of national sales manager, car care division for Valvoline in a role that saw him working closely with a team of territory managers nationally, supporting and developing the national dealer channel.
