Unleash your creativity and humour with a 60-second video about the projects you could finish with the help of a John Deere compact utility tractor and ZTrak ride-on mower across a six-month period

John Deere is looking for someone with a talent for making fun videos to become an overnight star.

If you live on an acreage, lifestyle block or hobby farm, you could be just the person John Deere is ready to crown in their latest competition to find the next great Australian content creator.

As part of the Don’t Just Dream it, Deere it campaign, John Deere will give one lucky winner the chance to tick off all those jobs on their to-do list over six months with free use of a machinery package that includes a compact utility tractor and a ZTrak™ ride-on mower.

John Deere Australia and New Zealand Small Ag & Turf Marketing Manager, Erin Wagstaff said it was about giving people the confidence to tackle the projects that might have been sitting in the too-hard basket.

If you win the competition ask for the new John Deere Z370R Electric ZTrak™ Zero turn mower shown here with Australia & New Zealand Small Ag and Turf Marketing Manager Erin Wagstaff

“Sometimes you just need the right machine to get the job done,” Erin Wagstaff added.

“We want to give someone that extra helping hand and let our winner take viewers on that journey with them.

“We know Australians love home renovation and garden makeover-style videos, so this is a chance for someone to be the star of the show and we will give them the supporting cast in the form of a great compact utility tractor and ride-on mower.”

The winner will be a natural entertainer with great skills behind the camera, and a lovable personality in front of it, along with a healthy number of social media followers.

Erin Wagstaff reiterated that they need to resonate with our local market.

John Deere is out to crown someone the greatest farm content creator based on a 60-second video about using John Deere equipment that will be supplied to get all the jobbing done and beat the content provided by NZ entrant Vaughan Smith

“In New Zealand, we have been doing some work with breakfast radio host, Vaughan Smith, and people have really enjoyed seeing the results he’s achieved on his property using our 4044R tractor and attachments.

“It’s now time to find an Australian who can shine and tick off those projects while creating fun and engaging content.”

To be in the running to become John Deere’s Australian content creator, entrants need to tell John Deere what they can cram into a 60-second humourist and entertaining video with the help of a John Deere compact utility tractor and ZTrak ride-on mower during a six-month period.

From that description, John Deere will provide the winner with all the tools they need to start working around their farm for six months, for free.
