Kawasaki Motors Limited (Japan) has signalled it will take over the distribution of Kawasaki products directly into the New Zealand market through its Australian division. This move is part of Kawasaki’s global strategy to manage product distribution under one main company division.
Kawasaki Products have been distributed by Lyntec Holdings for the past seven years in the New Zealand market, part of Verhoeven Group. And for the time being, they will continue distributing Kawasaki to the New Zealand market until 31 March 2024. Following that time frame, Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd (Australia) will begin distributing Kawasaki products in New Zealand from 1 April 2024.
Plenty of advance notice has been given and this will allow Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd will work with Lyntec Holdings for a smooth transition and ensure necessary support so the New Zealand dealerships can continue to serve Kawasaki customers without a hitch.
Kawasaki Motors Limited (Japan) has relayed how Lyntec Holdings has been an excellent partner for Kawasaki Motors Limited and provided a good level of service to NZ dealerships. Kawasaki Motors Pty Ltd (Australia) is looking forward to building positive, lasting relationships with dealerships and customers in New Zealand when it takes over on 1 April 2024.
