The Karat 10 offers more settings and drawbar options than before to give growers the most versatile implement for specialist crop production

LEMKEN has released the Karat 10 cultivator in a design that will appeal to farmers seeking a more efficient specialist cultivator to work across 3 to 7 metres, with depth settings from 50 to 300mm.
The tines are now arranged symmetrically around the tensile axis, making the machine extremely low-draught and ensuring intensive mixing at the same time. This design also ensures lower traction requirements and less side draft compared to previous models. Particularly important when using the cultivator with track guidance systems.
The tine arrangement is just one of the core areas that LEMKEN has improved even further in its latest Karat cultivator, a model range that has been incredibly successful for many years.

The implement is now available with more equipment variants and drawbar options than before, and this opens up even more versatile applications in specialist crop production. And in addition, this model is now more suited for operating with tractors running at maximum tyre widths.
A further noticeable improvement is that the wing shares used for shallow cultivation have been widened. While alternatively, narrow shares can still be used for deep cultivation.
There are now specially shaped guide plates with the job of improving the mixing effect.
The Karat 10 can also be equipped with DeltaCut shares for shallow cultivation, that can also be optionally specified in carbide.

The machine comes with a quick-change system as standard to allow operators to set working depths between 50 and 300mm quickly and easily. Tractor power requirements range from 75 to 105kW (105 to 240hp) depending on the working width.
Take a closer look at the new addition of edge levelling tools, this allows the implement to be operated even while folded. And the Karat 10 cultivator is also optionally available with a leading disc section, fitted at factory level upon request.
This ensures that large volumes of organic matter can be incorporated even better into the soil. These discs, are individually suspended on leaf springs, chop organic matter, and break up coarse soil clumps so that the machine can mix soil intensively and work without clogging.
Centrally adjustable levelling elements provided behind the tine section ensure an even work rate. Specially shaped star wheels are also an option, and they run ahead of the roller to produce optimal results, particularly noticeable when working with heavy soil.

The LEMKEN Karat 10 cultivator is available as either a mounted or semi-mounted variant, with working widths between three and seven metres. The mounted version offers row spacings of 310mm on a 1000/1000mm bar spacing running at a frame height of 800mm. While the semi-mounted version offers row spacings of 300mm on a 700/700mm bar spacing running at a frame height of 800mm
A traction booster and the ContourTrack system for working in hilly terrain are specifically available for semi-mounted models. And operators can also choose from the full range of LEMKEN rollers if required. While a trailing harrow for removing soil from roots is also available as an option.
