This specialist Solitair PT drill combination from LEMKEN includes an OptiDisc coulter bar and up to 5100-litres of product carrying capacity

LEMKEN has released the Solitair PT as a powerful and practical drill combination including a power harrow that helps to set a solid standard of sowing.
The Solitair PT has been designed for farmers and contractors who want to option to plant economically in a wide range of soil conditions, and this drill matches that criteria through its precision able to prepare a perfect seedbed.
At the basis of the Solitair PT is an integrated Zirkon power harrow equipped with four tine carriers across each metre, giving it the ability to prepare a level seedbed for even crop emergence.
The set-up includes a special tine arrangement and the hydraulic depth adjustment, as standard, to ensure even crumbling and a continuous flow of soil in all conditions. With the working depth, rotor speed, and forward speed all able to be adjusted individually.
This operator has the option to set the Solitair PT to work quickly and at a shallow depth, or deeply and intensively, depending on individual soil condition and tillage method.

The levelling bar can be adjusted hydraulically or mechanically, contributing to consistent high-quality results.
The Solitair PT 600 offers a 6m working width that reduces to 2.98m for road transport. The bare weight is 10,520kg.
Product tank capacity
The Solitair PT is all about performance and efficiency, and that’s why it is equipped with strong metal tanks with a choice of either a single tank with a capacity of 4,400 litres, or a double tank with a capacity of 5,100 litres (40:60 split).
Due to its corrosion-resistant components and integrated agitator shaft, the modular metering system always works reliably, even when handling different seed or fertilisers.
OptiDisc coulter bar precision
At the heart of the Solitair PT is a coulter bar with parallelogram-guided double disc coulters, with configuration as OptiDisc M, with up to 45 kg coulter pressure, or OptiDisc H with up to 70 kg coulter pressure.

The coulter pressure can be adjusted mechanically or hydraulically, independently of the seed depth, a key advantage when working in changing soil conditions or at high speeds.
Seed placement can be further improved by a pre-running trapeze packer roller, that ensures optimum seed-to-soil contact. The result of this configuration is perfect and rapid emergence of crops.
Practical solution
The Solitair PT is built strongly to work every day if required. Its long drawbar enables tight turning manoeuvres even with wide tractors.
Tools such as a leading tyre packer, wheel mark eradicator discs or tractor wheel mark eradicators allow for targeted adaptation to any planting situation.
With the Solitair PT, LEMKEN delivers a future-oriented seed drill that encompasses current intelligent technology, and this make sit high flexibility for excellent results.
This model is a genuine long-term asset that can be utilised for many years for both farmers and contractors who want more certainty with sowing.
