The Mallee Machinery Field Days is geared for a big event to run over two days from 2 to 3 August 2023 and every farmer and everybody else in the region and beyond will be attending

It’s Mallee’s signature agricultural event, and the Mallee Machinery Field Days is set to return to Speed VIC on Wednesday and Thursday 2 and 3 August 2023.
The 2023 field days mark the 43rd annual event, and organisers aim to showcase the latest technology and advances within the agricultural industry.
With more than 300 exhibitors across Australia, the field days event features broadacre farming equipment and machinery worth more than $100 million.
Organised by the Speed Lions Club, the event is steeped in history and has been a major fundraiser for the Lions Club for more than four decades.
“We’re happy we will be able to provide an economic boost to many community groups and organisations who have been hit hard in recent years,” MMFD secretary Matt Brady said.
Proceeds from past events have been donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital, The Royal Flying Doctor Service, local hospitals, schools, sporting clubs, community groups and not-for-profit organisations.
The Mallee Machinery Field Days is the largest agricultural and agribusiness trade show run by farmers for farmers.

From humble beginnings, the annual field days have evolved and have stood the test of time which has been no mean feat for the small but dedicated group of volunteers who work year-round to bring the event to fruition.
Hot off the back of a successful event in 2022, following two years of cancellations due to COVID-19 in 2020 and 2021, the committee is once again working tirelessly behind the scenes to bring the event to life.
“We’ve had lots of enquiries from new potential exhibitors and the wheels are in motion for next year’s event,” MMFD secretary Matt Brady added.
The Speed Lions Club was recently named the Awards Australia Community Group of the Year at the Victorian Community Achievement Awards.
The Community Group Award recognises groups that significantly contribute to their community.
The award recognised community groups that share a strong sense of team spirit, and play a vital role in enhancing the social, economic, commercial, and environmental prosperity of the region.
Hosted by the Speed Lions Club
The Mallee Machinery Field Days were the first of its kind to be held within Mallee and continue to evolve each year.
Dating back to 1979, the Speed Lions Club played host to their inaugural field day event, it featured 38 exhibitors and raised $2800.
Today, the Mallee Machinery Field Days attract more than 300 exhibitors from across Australia and feature a range of farming equipment and machinery. This year it is expected equipment on display will be worth more than $100 million.

There will be everything from the latest agricultural machinery to finance and brokering, clothing and safety gear, the exhibits cover all facets of farming.
Organisers of the Mallee Machinery Field Days believe the longevity of the event can be attributed to the fact the club has never steered away from its main agricultural focus – it’s an event run by farmers for farmers.
Exhibitors travel far and wide to be a part of the Mallee Machinery Field Days. The event attracts more than 8000 patrons across the two-day event.
Proceeds from past events have been donated to the Royal Children’s Hospital, The Royal Flying Doctor Service, local hospitals, schools, sporting clubs, community groups and not-for-profit
