With the launch of the MF 6S Series to Australian and New Zealand farmers it also brings a new power category benchmark with the first ever 147kW (200hp), four-cylinder tractor, the 6S1.80 with a turning radius of just 4.75m.
The MF 6S Series offers the complete package of comfort, control and connectivity for an enhanced operator experience in smart farming with standard engine power from 99 to 132kW (135 to 180hp).
In addition, you are buying the most current engine technology, clean engines free of noxious cancer carcinogens that meet strict Stage V emission standards.
Top transmission choice for all models is a Dyna-VT Super Eco continuously variable transmission, with new Automatic Mode or 24 x 24 Dyna-6 Super-Eco, semi-powershift with AutoDrive.

Compact and powerful combination
The five four-cylinder tractors in the MF 6S Series offer standard power from 99 to 132kW (135 to 180hp) but when the EPM power boost kicks in it takes the range to 110 to 147kW (150 to 200hp).
The MF 6S Series offer the same outstanding performance characteristics as the MF 6700 S Series they replace, and like their predecessors, the MF 6S Series delivers the power and torque of a larger six-cylinder, but with all the economical running benefits of a smaller four-cylinder tractor.
Supreme cab with all controls
With the MF 6S Series Massey Ferguson has introduced an upgraded cab with air conditioning that keeps the cab cooler, while other changes also make it much quieter at 70dBA.
The MF 6S Series cabs also gain substantial new functions for easier control and connectivity, first introduced on the pioneering MF 8S Flagship models, that not only won the Tractor of Year, but has recently received a prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
Operators benefit from a more comfortable air-suspended seat, with a heated option, with real leather trim and improved ventilation. The seat is also equipped with DDS – Dynamic Damping System with lateral stability suspension that responds automatically to the severity of bumps.
There is also a re-designed armrest, linked to the seat, armed with everything operators need to monitor the engine, transmission, hydraulics, linkage and PTO as well as switches for the radio and phone.
Further improved comfort is available with the optional mechanical or active mechanical cab suspension, as well as a suspended front axle.
Loader operators will welcome the Visio Roof option, that greatly improves vision for handling work, providing a clear view of the load through the full lift range.

Single lever control
All main tractor functions are run from a single Multipad, ISOBUS-compatible controller.
This easy-to-use lever includes a linkage control rocker switch, cruise settings, driving mode pre-sets and MF Guide activation. It also houses a micro joystick to control two electric spool valves.
While a further unique, multifunction joystick option offers simple, convenient control of the optional loader or front linkage.
This not only operates the spool valves, but also enables operators to change direction and control the tractor speed.
Touch-screen operation
Significant changes to the current Datatronic 5 terminal not only increase functionality, but also make it easier to use.
With its much brighter, 230mm (9-inch) touch-screen’s anti-glare surface, it provides easy access through short-cut keys. With its tablet style operation, it enables operators to access and change settings quickly and easily.
It not only manages all the tractor functions but also all MF Technologies including MF Guide, with its fast set up ‘Go Mode’ function, as well as MF Section and MF Rate Control as well as MF Task Doc data.
Available on the Efficient version is an option that enables the radio and mobile phone and play media be operated through the Datatronic 5 screen.
Also available on MF 6S Series tractors is the MF E-Loader option that helps to increase loading accuracy and provides control and setting for the Bucket Shake facility.
This enables operators to weigh individual fork or bucket loads and record the total weights of each item, load or job and these can be transferred as a simple spreadsheet.
For further operating flexibility there is also the updated Fieldstar 5 terminal option, this enables operators to run all the smart farming operations on a separate screen.
Powerful engine performance
All MF 6S Series tractors are powered by the latest technology AGCO Power engines, that deliver maximum power from 99 to 132kW (135 to 180hp), with a power boost of between 11 or 15kW (15 or 20hp), depending on the model. Torque also rises with the boost – by up to 40Nm on the largest MF 6S.180.
Massey Ferguson’s renowned ‘All-in-One’ SCR system ensures the engines meets strict Stage V emission standards. Tucked neatly under the cab, this maintenance-free system has no impact on visibility or performance.
Top transmission choice
Top transmission choice on all models includes seamless shifting from the Dyna-VT Super Eco, or the renowned Massey Ferguson Dyna-6 Super-Eco, semi-powershift with AutoDrive.
Designed and built ‘in-house’, Massey Ferguson transmissions are well proven and have been operated and improved for more than 20 years.
They are a perfect match with the AGCO Power engines, producing the most effective and efficient combination on the market.
Both transmissions come with the unique MF Power Control lever on the left-hand side of the steering column, this provides clutchless shuttling, with an adjustable response. It also shifts speeds up or down and selects neutral.
Dyna-VT continuously variable transmissions are now equipped with an Automatic Mode.
Simple to activate with a switch on the armrest, auto mode allows the operator to adjust forward speed with the Multipad lever or the foot pedal, while the engine speed is automatically regulated according to the load and speed.
The hand throttle also sets a lower engine speed limit – with rpm never dropping below this limit.
The Super Eco version of the Dyna-VT reduces fuel consumption by achieving 40kph at just 1,450rpm.
