Upgrade your automotive lights and lamps from the Narva catalogue with over 790 new products in a revised layout
Narva’s product catalogue for 2024 has just been released, and it’s larger than ever showcasing 790 lights and lamps with 470 never-before-released products along with all necessary automotive wiring requirements.
Designed for the trade, this hotly anticipated 19th edition of the Narva Catalogue has more information than ever and introduces a curated format that was implemented following extensive consultation with automotive, industrial and other industries.
Many products are included for the first time as Narva extends coverage to almost every product category, with extra attention paid to key lighting categories such as Driving Lights, Work Lamps, Warning Lights and LED Truck and Trailer Lighting, with many of the new additions providing market-leading benefits for users.
Narva Senior Brand Manager, Jame Pearson, explains how the Narva catalogue is a key reference tool for the industry, with the latest edition being hotly anticipated.
“The Narva catalogue is coveted by the trade and usually sits front and centre on trade counters, so when a new edition is released, it comes with plenty of excitement. Additionally, it bucks the digital trend, with most users preferring to thumb through hardcopies,” James adds.
“It’s been around five years since the last catalogue and the latest edition is stacked with even more great Narva products and accessories, and also features usability enhancements after consulting with workshops and suppliers across the country.”
Forward lighting
A notable inclusion in the 2024 catalogue release is Narva’s Ultima MK3 LED driving light and light bar ranges that now pack even more power and can be linked to the clever Connect+ Controller, allowing owners to connect their Ultima lights and adjust performance parameters to best suit operating conditions and environment.
Also featuring prominently are EX2 LED driving lights and light bars that combine outstanding model choice and overall lighting performance with wide colour customisation options for buyers due to interchangeable trims.
Work and warning lamps
In the work lamp section, the latest catalogue debuts the Microlux Work Lamp range; they’re models that blend superior output and compact beam patterns in a package not previously available in the local market.
There’s also great news for users of warning lamps with four new strobe ranges introduced, including the Eurotech II and the market-changing Optimax Beacons. All have been designed, engineered and tested by Narva to suit the unique ANZ market.
The lights, including rotating patterns, meet SAE Class I requirements, a performance measure that’s unique to Narva.
Also making a debut in the catalogue are two lightbox ranges that include a full-sized warning light bar, something not previously available from Narva.
Additionally, the continued development of Self-contained/Perimeter Warning Lights also introduces additional options in this category.
The latest offering also showcases Narva’s smoked lens variants and versatile flexible warning lights with all silicone optics for increased durability and snug fitment over vehicle contours.
And finally within this category, the Utility/Mine Bar range has been updated to include more beacons, strobes and light boxes as well as an ADR approved combination front position and forward facing indicator as a standard.
The range has also been updated to use the compact yet more powerful Microlux work lamp.
Truck and trailer lighting
Another major highlight of the catalogue is Narva’s growing range of LED Truck and Trailer Lighting, with nine models added, providing lighting solutions for everything from box and boat trailers to cattle trucks and road train trailers.
Standouts include the 80 Series that is designed for the toughest commercial applications, and the stylish 70 Series with signature taillight function and first-to-market combination stop/reflector.
Globes and more
In globe products the ADR approved Plus 200 halogen and HID upgraded ranges are prominent.
The catalogue also covers broader market movement towards LED, highlighting an all-new signaling range as well as three market-leading LED headlight globe product lines.
In addition, categories such as fuses, trade grade terminals, switches, RV and interior lighting and marine lighting, have all grown in the latest catalogue.
Simple to use layout
Industry consultation has shaped the format and layout of the latest Narva catalogue, making it more functional and easier to use than ever – the latest edition is the ideal quick reference, countertop guide.
Trade customers indicated that they often browse catalogues looking for images, and once they identify the product by the photo, they then want the specifications and in particular line drawings with mounting information.
Other feedback included reducing text in favour of more simple descriptions and application recommendations.
Taking these requests on board, the 2024 Narva catalogue introduces revised image placement to the leading edge of the left-hand page, letting users more easily see the images on both sides of the page when flicking through, making products easier to find.
New graphic icons have been introduced as well, allowing more information to be communicated in fewer words.
There are also more line drawings included and they’re more detailed than previously, where applicable they include information covering the distance between bolt holes, centre to centre, and pitch circle diameter (PCD) for round products.
This means installers can be sure their chosen product will fit within the required space.
The number of QR codes in the 2024 catalogue has grown as well, allowing trade professionals to quickly access product videos, application guides, tech tips and more.
In the case of the new LED Truck and Trailer lighting range, QR codes link to surface CAD, letting trailer and bodybuilders access this important information more efficiently.
The catalogue also offers three additional application guides covering Work Lamp, Emergency Lighting and LED Truck and Trailer Lighting – all are easily identifiable by their colour coded tables.
For resellers, the catalogue includes key selling points as well as explanatory information about how to specify the most appropriate Narva products for the application.
