Nokian mid to high power efficiency is behind the popularity of its Soil King VF tractor range with three more sizes released
Nokian Tyres has added three further sizes to its Soil King VF tyre range as operators seek higher performance for tractor models in the mid-power performance 147 to 202kW (200-275 hp) range.
Many demanding agricultural tasks can be carried out more sufficiently following the release of the VF650/65R42, VF540/65R30 and VF600/60R30 tractor tyres that will enable more farmers to experience the test-winning, soil- and fuel-saving advantages of Nokian Tyres Flexforce® VF technology.
Proven Flexforce® VF technology
The Soil King VF series with Flexforce® VF technology uniquely combines flexibility and strength. This tyre technology creates XXL ground contact and minimizes energy loss, which reduces fuel consumption and improves overall efficiency.
Large ground contact areas and lower surface pressure also reduce soil compaction significantly, resulting in less soil and crop damage and more yield.
Tests conducted by the Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft (DLG) have validated the best-in-class performance of Nokian Tyres VF tyres in both paddock work and transport. That sets them apart from other premium agricultural VF tyres.
The tyre has also undergone extensive paddock testing. In their reports, the test users highlighted soil friendliness, stability and road performance as the main attributes.
Soil King VF range advantages
These are three distinct advantages to fitting tyres from the Nokian Soil King VF range. Operators will cover an estimated 6% more treated area each working hour, along with 8% lower fuel consumption when cultivating and 5% lower fuel consumption in transport work.

Sizes and availability
Nokian Soil King VF tyres are available in five diameter sizes, including 711, 762, 864, 965 and 1066mm (28, 30, 34, 38, and 42-inches).
The current Soil King VF range comprises eleven popular variants for mid-powered tractors, with plans for further expansion in the future.
The Soil King VF product family now includes these regular sizes: VF650/65R42, VF540/65R30, VF600/60R30, VF710/70R42, VF650/85R38, VF600/70R30, VF600/70R28, VF710/75R42, VF600/70R34, VF650/65R34, and F650/60R34.
