Trelleborg is playing a pivotal role in advanced tyre technology by designing an innovative tread design with soil-preserving solutions for the next generation of electric-powered tractors.
Trelleborg’s TM1 Eco Power tyre has been designed together with OE partner Fendt and is especially ideal to fit onto the e107 Vario, part of the next generation of electric tractors equipped with 280/70R16 tyres on the front axle and 380/70R24 tyres on the rear axle as a standard factory fitment.
This innovative tyre design has self-cleaning properties that have been proven to give superior traction on hard soil while still being able to offer extra comfort for the operator.
With a focus on performance and energy efficiency, TM1 Eco Power tyres also deliver unparalleled low rolling resistance for fuel-powered vehicles while extending the battery life, further reducing environmental impact while maximising performance
TM1 Eco Power advantages
Developed in conjunction with OE partner Fendt the Trelleborg’s TM1 Eco Power tyre is ideal for electric-powered tractors but is also innovative enough to fit onto traditional fossil fuel powered tractors.
The tyre is manufactured from 65% recycled and bio-based materials, designed to outperform and outlast standard tyres on-road and working across hard soil.
This tyre solution uses sustainable engineering for significant savings in fuel and battery consumption on electric vehicles, delivering a 47% lower rolling resistance compared to other premium tyres.
Its innovative design and self-cleaning properties give 26% greater traction on hard terrain and 12% better operator comfort, setting a new tyre standard for the future of agribusiness.
