Fencestay steel box strainer assembly is the first choice for fencers

Be ready to strain in less than 10 minutes with the revolutionary Fencestay strainer assembly and all without a tractor or concrete

Fencestay inventor Steven Casamento shown here takes us through the simple steps that allows the Fencestay assembly to be ready for straining in just 10 minutes from start to finish and all with the tools you already have in your workshop

Steven Casamento has been engineering farm products since 1991 when he started working for his grandfather, and during that time has developing more efficient equipment and ways to tackle farm jobbing.

Steve’s interest in improving fencing assemblies and straining methods led him to create a wire fence system that was fast to assemble and strong.

From this invention, Trigger Engineering was formed and Fencestay was born.

Fencestay wire fence assembly is all Aussie designed and made from fire resistant galvanised steel with the proven strength and stability required to replace timber strainer assemblies.

Steve designed Fencestay to be erected without any special tools or equipment to and with absolutely no welding required.

And for farm outfits looking for an ideal fencing system to tie in with their rotational grazing operation, Fencestay is perfect for creating extra paddocks instantly. And is then easy to move into another position as required.

For livestock producers used to annoying animals having a crack at getting through every fence they see, Fencestay has their measure.

Even before Fencestay had a name, the system was being trailed on a 1538 hectares (3800-acres) share farm that Steve Peri was running near Sunbury VIC.

And on the farm was the biggest test of all, just under 700 head of feisty Black Angus breeders that were part of a rotational fencing program.

Fencestay is perfect for erecting temporary fencing for rotational grazing and for shielding off hay and feed stacks inside paddocks where stock is already roaming – and also perfect for any permanent fence lines

Steve Peri is well experienced and was used to fencing but was a bit apprehensive at first as the Fencestay set up is a reverse of a normal assembly that he was used to.

But Steve soon came to appreciate why the Fencestay design works uniquely to push the leverage to the ground through the assembly rather than as a counteracting pull of a normal assembly.

Fencestay has been used for over two years by Steve Peri for both laneways and stock movement, with the biggest focus on rotational grazing and creating more paddocks within the already permanent fenced 32ha (80-acre) paddocks.

Fencestay is the ideal choice for rotational interior fencing into 12ha (30-acre) smaller paddocks, as its easy to erect and provides a solid fence line for more effective pasture management.

Fencestay is not confined to rotational fencing. Steve Peri has used an assembly on a 390m direct strain, and that fence is still up now protecting one of his wrapped lines of silage.

The set-up is two assemblies, then posts every 10m and this carries seven-wire strands.

While Steve Peri has also set-up another assembly for dividing a 40ha (100-acre) section off for an oat crop, with cattle grazing all around the fenced perimeter in the balance of the 121ha (300-acre) paddock.

An obvious advantage of Fencestay is the speed the assembly and fence lines can be erected. And whenever the time comes to move it, just pull it out and move to the next location.

Fencestay is designed to make controlled grazing much easier to manage, and also for fencing off an area for storing silage in a large paddock it is also a very efficient method.

Whether used for permanent fencing or for rotational grazing and creating more paddocks, Fencestay is a perfect choice.
