There is plenty for the entire family to see and have a fantastic day while exploring the agriculture equipment and displays in-between some great entertainment

A major difference for the South East Field Days at Lucindale is the hard work that goes into the event from organisers, the hard working Lucindale Lions Club and specifically their specially appointed Field Days committee.
The South East Field Days committee are known for their ability to cater for all requests from site holders and visitors, and be able to put on an event that everybody that attends will find interesting while raising vital funds for the local community.
The event is held at Yakka Park, an easy to get around site that is dust free, with numerous amenities and a wide range of food sites. And for the less mobile, there is courtesy transport around the various sites and attractions.
The 2023 event will be staged on Friday and Saturday, the 17 and 18 March, so for any exhibitors it’s time to act now to secure a site. Farmers from across the region have had a great season so many will be looking to upgrade for next season.

On average a crowd of 22,000 people attend across the two-day event where there are 500-plus exhibitors to get around and see the latest releases.
This event is known for attracting all family members due to the wide variety of information and entertainment that ensures everyone will have a fantastic day checking out the agriculture equipment and displays.
And be ready to explore two huge general interest pavilions where you will find all sorts of things to tempt you from craft, clothing, wine tasting and speciality food.
And then meet up for a delicious lunch at one of the many food courts available on site.

Catch the big entertainment program
Introduced for the first time in 2023 is a speciality Ag Tech centre where patrons will see the latest in technology and innovations specific to the agriculture industry. And be able to talk to industry experts on the stands.
Additional entertainment for 2023 will include Randy’s Junk Yard Show, an exciting and thrilling motorbike stunt display. See this action-packed motorcycle and bicycle trials stunt show delivered with a comical twist. Up to three shows each day will keep all patrons entertained.
Some of the established entertainment returns again for 2023 include the Burrungule Park Laser Tag competition, Circus Elements, Addicted to Mud stunts and Old MacDonald’s Travelling Farm. All action-packed and interesting entertainment that everyone will want to see.
A big drawcard on again for 2023 is the South Australia Yard Dog Association trials where the dogs that every farmer wants to own will be in competition. There is a long affiliation with the South East Field Days and this event, with the first Yard Dog trial held in South Australia started at Lucindale over 40 years ago.
Owners from across the country will be competing in the Yard Dog Championships for big prizes across the two permanent trial courses.
Trials actually start on Thursday prior to the field days opening and the winners continue through Friday and Saturday at Kelpie Korner. There is always plenty of seating and shaded areas for observing the dogs and handlers work through their courses.

Another big plus to attend the South East Field Days at Lucindale is for the region itself.
You are visiting a region that is renowned for its high-quality foods and wines and there are plenty of opportunities to sample these, with everything on display from jewellery, arts, crafts, fashion, cropping, livestock development and farm equipment – you name it and it will probably be there.
It is not too late to book a site for the 2023 SE Field Day, but possible site holders will want to book sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment. Get exhibitor information here, while you can book on this link.
