American Farmer is a program on a mission to showcase the latest advancements in agriculture and farming.

Starting out, the series will take viewers behind-the-scenes to learn about one of the fastest growing industries – industrial hemp, which refers to cannabis varieties that are primarily grown as an agricultural crop.

Looking to the skies to help manage their crops, more and more farmers are now adopting new, cutting-edge precision Ag technologies. The show will explore how farmers are using outer space to help life on earth, and how advancements in satellites, high precision positioning systems, smart sensors and a range of IT applications combined with high-tech engineering are helping ranchers and farmers to produce more with less.

The show will cover a number of other topics, including bee security for the future of food, innovations in grain analyzers, remote steering, harvest automation technologies, and more.

“American Farmer is dedicated to exploring the most innovative and groundbreaking changes taking place in the industry,” said Kelly Fussell, Producer for the American Farmer series.

“We look forward to this new season, which is sure to enlighten and educate our viewers on the latest happening in agriculture.”
