Farm machinery and bus manufacturer Kühne, based in Mosonmagyaróvár, western Hungary, is to show two new in-house developed and manufactured farm machinery products at next weekʼs Agromash Expo in Budapest. Source: The Budapest Business Journal
CEO Csaba Süli told Hungarian news agency MTI that Kühneʼs seedbed cultivator has won the farm machinery exhibitionʼs domestic product design award.
Kühne had profit of HUF 370 million last year with domestic sales revenue at HUF 2.5 billion in 2014. Exports sales however, were low.
Results improved slightly in 2015 and now Kühne wants to double the sales of its farm machinery by 2020.
Kühne and Kravtex Kereskedelmi have since 1999 jointly manufactured Credo buses, which account for 40% of Kühneʼs revenue. The two companies plan to invest hundreds of millions of forints in 2016.
Kühne, which celebrates its 160th anniversary this year and employs approximately 300 people.
