Seed Hawk has announced the appointment of Ms. Birgitta Ewerlöf as the newly appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Seed Hawk Inc. at Langbank, Saskatchewan, Canada. Source: AFDJ eNews
Ms Ewerlöf was born and raised in Sweden, and recently moved to Whitewood, Saskatchewan with her husband, who also joined the Seed Hawk team.
Since October 2016, Ms Ewerlöf was the acting interim Manager of Components at Väderstad AB in Sweden.
Ms Ewerlöf is an accomplished leader, with a broad experience in the international manufacturing industry. She brings a wealth of managerial experience to Seed Hawk from Volvo AB, with 27 years at different locations, positions and roles.
For 25 of those 27 years, Ms Ewerlöf held a management position. She worked primarily in production, but also in purchasing, customer service and human resources.
Outside of Volvo AB, Ms Ewerlöf’s background includes: Meritor Inc., Managing Director of Eberspächer Exhaust Technology Sweden AB, and Managing Director at PartnerTech AB (previously Bofors AB).
She is an active mentor, coach and advisor, with various appointments as a board member. Ms Ewerlöf graduated with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Linköpings Tekniska Högskola (Linköping University) in 1985.
When asked about her vision for Seed Hawk, she said: “My vision is to grow with quality in every process – together with our customers.”
