Allight has diversified its power range with the exclusive launch of Rotair portable air compressors in Australia.
Italian-designed and made, Rotair air compressors are compact, powerful and developed to cater for various markets and needs, including construction, mining, rental and industrial.
According to Paul Sowerby, Allight’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Rotair’s high-tech design and quality manufacturing have put them at the forefront of compressor technology.

“When we considered adding portable air compressors to our range of power solutions, Rotair was an obvious choice,” said Sowerby. “Their patented air-oil filtration system is a breakthrough in compressed air technology.”
Allight’s new air range includes the MDVN series and the mine-specification MDVS series of portable compressors. “Both feature the new rotary air screw technology, designed to produce minimum noise and maximum compressed air quality, and both are powered by quality Perkins engines,” added Sowerby.
“The intelligent design of the MDVN compressors delivers efficiency, versatility and power. It’s quiet, vibration-free and its compact modular design means it’s easy to transport.”
Compressors in the MDVN series offer a free air delivery range of 2100 to 7100 litres per minute, or 74 to 251 cfm.
The direct transmission motorised compressors in the MDVS series are designed to meet a wide range of industrial needs, according to Sowerby. “Like the MDVN series, these compressors are compact, powerful and reliable, but their heavy-duty specification means they also suit tough environments.”
“A free air delivery range of 9500 to 12000 litres per minute, or 354 to 424 cfm; and maximum pressures between 7 and 12 bars, result in impressive power,” he explained.
Allight supplies Rotair compressors alongside its own range of mobile lighting towers, Perkins diesel engines, FG Wilson generators and Godwin pumps. All compressors are backed up by a two-year warranty, genuine parts, service and full warranty support.
