Lloyds Auctions is bringing this 2022 Tesla Model Y to auction and is optimistic it will achieve a price higher than its listed retail value

The Model Y is the latest release from Tesla and is designed to be a more affordable version of the Tesla SUV.

Lloyds Auctions is bringing the vehicle to market and claims that acquiring the car at auction could be a good way to beat the current 9- to 18-month wait times.

by The Committee of Sydney states that “If electric vehicles carry the vast bulk of achieving the 2030 target, 100% of passenger car sales will need to be EVs in 2027, leading to approximately 850,000 passenger EVs on the road by 2030.”

“Sydney is leading the way to reach its net zero emissions target by planning to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel cars by 2027, which is not far away so people are looking for these cars now,” said Lloyds representative Lee Hames.

The Tesla Model Y is finished in metallic grey, has only delivery kilometres on the clock, and comes with the full warranty supplied by Tesla.

The Tesla will go to auction on Monday 3rd October from 7:00pm.
