CJD Equipment release the H Series range of SDLG loaders that are ideally placed for farm operations

The SDLG H-Series wheel loader range has been released to build on the success the badge has already achieved with previous models by combining durability and superior comfort, along with exceptional fuel efficiency.
The result is a range of wheel loaders that can offer enhanced productivity and are now available in our local market through proven distributor CJD Equipment.
SDLG wheel loaders have proven ideal workhorses for general farm applications and are now considered the first choice for loading and lifting operations on local farms, in preference to using a tractor with a FEL attachment.
A wheel loader will get a lot more done in far less time, and as is much safer for the operator throughout the jobbing process.
Having earned their reputation as the “workhorse” of the farming industry, SDLG wheel loaders are also known for their extremely reliable performance, simple operation, low maintenance, and value for money.
“CJD Equipment has been distributing SDLG wheel loaders in Australia for over 11 years, and in that time our customers have experienced great success with the product, in a number of different industries including waste and recycling, agriculture, timber plants, and general construction,” explains Andrew Egan, National Product Manager for SDLG at CJD Equipment.
“The general feedback is that they are very reliable and most importantly, SDLG machinery is fully supported by CJD’s branch and dealer network – right across Australia.”

Shandong Lingong Equipment (SDLG) is one of China’s fastest growing manufacturers of construction equipment. Having recently celebrated its 50-year anniversary, the internationally renowned brand is available in more than 130 countries.
As a member of the Volvo Group since 2007, SDLG machinery also integrates Volvo’s design influence and quality standards, providing a cost-effective, versatile solution for heavy-load operations.
Now added to the existing CJD offering of five SDLG wheel loaders ranging from the (77hp) LG918 through to the (217hp) L958F, are three new H-Series models – the L936HLA, L938H and L946H with engine power from 105 to 129kW (141 to 173hp).
These H-Series wheel loaders have lifted the overall prowess of SDLG loaders even higher with high torque, fuel efficient Weichai 6-cylinder engine providing powerful performance and assured reliability with low maintenance requirements that are easily accessible for service and any daily quick checks.
SDLG H-Series models are fitted with a newly designed air-conditioned cab with improved sealing throughout, there is a suspension seat and a very current style wraparound pillarless front and rear windscreen for unparalleled all-around visibility.
All SDLG wheel loaders are fitted with fully certified ROPS-FOPS rollover protection as standard.
“SDLG wheel loaders have all the necessary safety features in the cab, along with an ergonomic, comfortable, low-noise environment keeping operators alert and happy,” explains Andrew Egan.
“The new models are very versatile, due to the factory fitted quick coupler and third function hydraulics that can accommodate a number of different attachments, making the machines very simple to use.”

H Series L936HLA wheel loader
The entry level machine in the SDLG H-Series line-up is the 11-tonne, 105kW (141hp), L936HLA wheel loader.
The L936HLA offers a bucket capacity up to 1.8cub.m and a rated load of 3-tonne. The rear axle-rated load capacity on this model has been improved by 25% to offer greater durability and increased productivity.
This loader also offers the advantage of a small footprint making it more manoeuvrable and perfect for tighter space removal jobs and utility work.

H Series L938H wheel loader
Next up in the H Series range is the L938H. Also an 11-tonne, 105kW (141hp) loader, that delivers a 2.1cub.m bucket capacity and the same impressive load capacity as the L936HLA of 3-tonne, but gains an edge with a 4-speed power shift transmission.
This upgrade over the 2-speed transmission on the L936HLA has the advantage of higher speed capability and smoother shifting. This makes the L938H wheel loader more suited for transporting and loading loose materials like sand and soil, feedlots, and general material handling.
Both the L936HLA and L938H are fitted with an automatic reset system that ensures the bucket is parallel to the ground during load carrying.

H Series L946H wheel loader
The L946H is the largest SDLG wheel loader in the new release H-Series range from CJD Equipment.
At 13-tonne, and with engine power of 129kW (173hp) and a 4-tonne rated load capacity, 2.3cub.m bucket, and optimised frame and boom structure, the L946H is the ideal choice for working with heavy duty loads and for bulk material handling applications.
In addition to models offered in the new H-Series range from SDLG, operators still have the option to choose the popular compact 6-tonne LG918 with engine power of 58kW (77hp) and the 17-tonne L958F offering engine power of 162kW (217hp), still the largest wheel loader in the SDLG range.
These models can still be purchased as new stock and remain a strong part of CJD’s SDLG wheel loader offering.

Service and reliability
SDLG wheel loaders are a great choice for farm operations that are looking for a premium product at a competitive price, and with the added assurance that all new SDLG machines come with a 3-year, 6000-hour warranty as standard.
It needs to be said, don’t get stuck with an initial cheap purchase price model, with the likelihood of no back-up service once it’s delivered. Andrew Egan also, pointed out how the SDLG and CJD Equipment partnership gives customers a reputable product with reliable after-sales support, with 24/7
sales, parts and service support stretching across the nation, from Australian capital cities through to regional country towns.
“It’s one thing to buy a machine that’s cost-effective, but all machines have the potential for unscheduled downtime. It’s a matter of how quickly you can get back onto the job again and how much you can rely on the company that sold you the machine,” Andrew Egan explained.
“CJD has a very good reputation Australia-wide for representing its machinery and looking after customers. You don’t stay in the industry for almost 50 years without looking after your customers.
If you’re planning on purchasing or replacing a piece of used equipment or you just want a machine that is reliable, easy to operate and maintain, and highly efficient, then SDLG is a great option,” Andrew Egan concluded.

News on the move
Later this year, CJD Equipment is also looking to bring the SDLG’s Mini Excavator range to Australia. It is expected there will be three models available with either zero or reduced tail swing, rubber tracks and load-sensing pilot hydraulic operated controls.
“We are looking at models from 1.8 to 6-tonne, all newly designed by SDLG with comfort and reliability at the core. These machines will be great options for the industry offering optimal power and stability, without compromising on quality. Watch this space,” Andrew Egan advises.
Founded in 1974, CJD Equipment is a privately-owned Australian company and leading provider of world class construction equipment and trucks. Offering a diverse range of products from iconic brands, CJD’s branch and dealer network spans the country.
