Agrowplow deep rippers dig down to depths of 400 to 600mm with a heavy-duty version that can go as deep as 750mm

Agrowplow deep ripping implements are robustly built for long service life and offer an innovative shank design for maximum effectiveness in a broad range of soil profiles.
Agrowplow shanks are fitted with full-length shinguards for greater protection, and this keeps maintenance and parts replacement costs down.
And blades toughened with tungsten tiles, rock teeth, and hard facing means a longer lifespan and more effective subsurface shattering.
In addition, the narrow shank profile of Agrowplow’s #9 shank assembly means a lower draft requirement, and that translates to lower fuel costs.

Rigid and hydraulic shank options are available with multiple spacings, depth options, and breakouts.
These include the massive 4790kg breakout at the blade of the #9 Rigid Shank, the extra-long scissor-action recoil of the # 9 Hydraulic Shank, to the leading-trailing shank design of the AP91 and AP92. Agrowplow also offers a heavy-duty plough that can rip down to 750mm (29.5-inches) deep.
By listening to farmer feedback, Agrowplow has developed shank-mounted inclusion plates that allow topsoil slotting and develop pathways for deeper plant root development while minimising additional draft requirements.
Feedback also led to the development of shank sweeps and winged blades that widen the shattering effect to maximise the amount of subsoil shattering without lifting or inversion.

Deep rippers for all operations
The entry-level Agrowplow rippers are the two frames in the Agrowplow AP11 range. These work across 1.65 and 2.31m (5.4 and 7.6ft) and are set with 5 and 7 shanks on 330mm spacings and hitch to the tractor via the 3-point linkage (3PL).
The Agrowplow AP11 is a compact robust ripping platform ideal for confined operations. This rugged machine is built with a 100x100x9mm RHS steel frame and can work to a depth of 400mm (16-inches).
Stepping up to wider working widths are the four frames in the AP31 range. The two original models in the range work across 2.31 and 2.97m (7.6 and 10ft) and are set with 7 and 9 shanks, set on 330mm spacings.
While the two most recently introduced models work across 3.0 and 3.75m (9.8 and 12.3ft) and are set with 6 and 5 shanks with row spacings of 500 and 750mm respectively. The working depth is 400mm. The AP11 and AP31 are equipped with the #8-9 hybrid shank assembly which gives the benefits of the #9 blades on previous generation #8 assemblies.

Agrowplow’s AP52 mid-size range offers a compact 3PL frame while being built with a heavy-duty construction found in much larger rippers.
There is a wide choice of models with 9, 11, 13 and 15 shank configurations on a 380mm setting offering working widths of 3.42, 4.18, 4.94 and 5.7m (11.22, 13.71, 16.2 and 18.7ft).
With a further choice of 11 and 15-row models on 409 and 400mm settings with working widths of 4.5 and 6.0m (14.76 and 19.68ft) respectively. For all row widths, there is a choice of the #9 rigid or hydraulic shank assembly.
The AP52 has an advantage in its ability to work with tractor power starting at 132kW (180hp) and still provide deep ripping down to 450mm (18-inches)

Moving into the mid broadacre category is the Agrowplow AP72 deep tillage range with four working widths – 3.5, 4.5, 6.0 and 9.0m (11.48, 14.76, 19.68 and 29.52ft). And run 9, 11, 15 and 19 shanks respectively.
The AP72 is built with the most current Agrowplow trailing design and an extra-strong 200x200x9mm RHS steel frame with the innovative #9 shank rigid or hydraulic assembly.
Standard working depth is 450mm (18-inches) while an optional 600mm (24-inches) is also available for more forgiving ground.

For large-scale operations, Agrowplow offers the AP82 broadacre ripper, configured in either a 17-shank model with a 9m (29.53ft) working width and 529mm spacings or as a 23-shank model with a 12m (39.37ft) working width and 522mm shank spacings.
The build is an unyielding fully welded frame set across a pair of 200x200x9mm RHS steel toolbars. The AP82 is designed for heavy trash clearance and is built to handle the stresses of heavy-duty applications.
Transport is made easier with the over-centre wing fold, with locking pins securing the sections.
The standard working depth of the AP82 is 450mm (18-inches) with an optional 600mm (24-inch) depth available.

Agrowplow’s AP91 is a time and cost-saving deep ripper that large-scale broadacre operations choose for improved cropping. The design is unstoppable with its leading-trailing shank configuration with a row of leading shanks working at a 450mm (18-inches) depth then followed by trailing shanks digging down to 600mm (24-inches) deep.
The AP91 offers working widths of 6, 9 and 12m (19.69, 29.53 and 39.37ft), with a fully welded frame built from 200x200x9mm RHS.
The leading rigid shank has a massive 4800kg (10,560lb) maximum breakout force while the trailing shank has a 6214kg (13,699lb) breakout force. With hydraulic recoil shanks fitted the equivalents are 1850kg (4070lb) leading and 1600kg (3527lb) trailing, breakout forces.
The working rows can be set at 529mm across 17 rows and 522mm across 23 rows. Minimum drawbar power of 294kW (400hp-plus) and 368kW (500hp-plus) respectively is recommended. Maximum working depth is 600mm (24-inches).

Agrowplow’s recently released AP92 builds on the success of the AP91’s leading trailing shank design; in a more compact frame that allows operators to ameliorate hardpans and deep subsurface compaction while minimising tractor power and input costs.
The AP92 is available in 7, 9, or 11-row configurations with 3.5, 4.5 and 6.05m (11.48, 14.76, 19.85ft) working widths and 500 or 550mm spacings.
A hydraulic level lift is fitted as standard and this achieves full depth and angle control from the tractor, allowing operators to quickly adjust to changing soil conditions. The AP92 is capable of towing a trailing Flexi-Roller to shatter soil clods and break up crusting in a single pass. Maximum working depth is 600mm (24 inches).

Topping off the impressive Agrowplow model line of heavy-duty deep rippers is the AP102, with an ultra-deep working depth down to 750mm (29.5-inches).
The AP102 is the ultimate solution with the strength and durability of being built from 300x300x16mm RHS joined by 25 mm steel plates, a super heavy-duty construction.
Agrowplow’s HD Rigid Shank has been custom designed and built exclusively for the AP102 featuring a 15,000kg (33,000 lbs) breakout at the blade.
The AP102 is available in 3.5, 4.5, 5.25, and 6m (11.48, 14.76, 17.22 19.68ft) working widths in 5, 7, or 9 shank configurations. The optional rear tow hitch can host a Flexi-Roller or additional trailing implements.

Wide range of attachments
Agrowplow offers a wide range of attachments to ensure every cultivation process can be achieved from the scissor action of the #9 hydraulic shank that breaks back along a wide arc, allowing it to overcome submerged obstacles like rocks and tree stumps without having to replace a shear pin.
In addition are Sweeps to increase the volume of soil lifted and fractured, allowing for greater topsoil mixing without disturbing the soil surface layer
While mulch blades cut weeds at the root level during ploughing allowing for weed management with minimal soil disturbance.
By adding Inclusion plates research has shown this can result in significant yield boosts when deep ripping in sandy soils.
Agrowplow also offers a furrower assembly that can be used to create the furrows and hills required for raised bed cropping.
