It was fitting the tenth anniversary Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo held in 2026 catered for a record breaking attendance

The 2026 Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo was a resounding success with big crowds over the three days eager to catch the latest industry releases and trends the event is known for

The crowd poured in as the Mayor of Blacktown, Councillor Brad Bunting and Komatsu National Sales Manager for Utility Carl Grundy opened the 2026 tenth anniversary Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo at Sydney’s Eastern Creek.

He said their Gold Sponsorship was tangible evidence of their support and heavy involvement within the Australian earthmoving industry.

Komatsu Australia has one of the most popular machinery exhibits at the Diesel Dirt & Turf Expo and has grown their business with gold status for the past six years

Over the three days of Australia’s largest earthmoving, construction and public space expo, more than 41,000 visitors were captivated and amazed by the huge number of exhibits and equipment demonstrations.

Expo management said the event’s ongoing growth and success was due to the industry’s recognition of Diesel Dirt & Turf as a key strategy in exhibitors’ annual promotional activity.

The National Diesel Dirt & Turf has grown exponentially since it was established ten years ago and has become a popular destination for a growing number of overseas companies, widely appearing on global industrial expo calendars.

Komatsu Australia was again the Gold Sponsor of the Expo, supported by Pickles, Machines4U, Gensure, Soda Capital, Penrite Oil Company and Louise Azzopardi Coaching.

Pickles Auction always a highlight

The Pickles auction held on the Friday at the Expo was well attended as usual, giving industry visitors a great opportunity to secure some excellent deals.

Matt Blanch, Pickles Industrial’s NSW Sales Manager said their sixth year of featuring at the  Expo more than lived up to expectations for sales from its on-site and online annual auction.

Eager buyers came in big numbers and quickly snapped up the sixty lots of quality civil construction assets on offer.

Many exhibitors time the Expo to release products for the first time, provide special offers, or celebrate corporate milestones for. One example is the Penrite Oil Company, a privately owned Australian lubricants company established in 1926.

Penrite chose the Expo to celebrate its centenary by focusing on its oils and fluids for heavy equipment for the construction and agricultural sectors.
