Tasmania’s premier rural event Agfest Field Days returns to its traditional month of May in 2023 back in the paddock from 4 to 6 May and then online in the Cloud from 6 until 12 May

Agfest will be held over three days at the 96-hectare (229-acre) Quercus Park site near Carrick, Tasmania from 4 until 6 May 2023, with gates opening from 8am to 4pm each day.
Agfest then moves online to a Cloud based platform from 6 to 12 May, which provides further exposure of exhibitor’s brand, products and services.
The event is normally held in the first week of May, but due to COVID restrictions the 2022 event was held in August. The return to May in 2023 marks the close of 3 years of COVID-19 impacting Agfest.
The committee is excited to see Agfest back in May: The Agfest 2023 Chairman Caine Evans said “The last 3 years have been tough to endure, and it is a tribute to the resilience of the Agfest team that we managed to hold a successful Agfest 2022.
“And now that the event is in great shape, we look towards 2023. We are all very excited to see Agfest back in May for 2023 and normality to be finally restored to our event.”
Agfest 2023 will see over 500 exhibitors with a large contingent of agricultural dealers and an exciting mix of other exhibitors.

The best of Tasmanian hospitality, food and beverages will be showcased once again in the Tasmania Hospitality Association Expo. Also returning in 2023 is the University of Tasmania with their exciting and interactive program.
Wood chopping will be an exciting new addition to the Agfest entertainment line-up. All the usual crowd pleasers such as the heritage agricultural machinery display, sheep dog trials, livestock and the Agfest boat show will also return.
The three-day paddock event is recognised as one of Australia’s top three agricultural field days, injecting more than $25 million into the local economy each year and attracting more than 500 exhibitors and 50,000 patrons.
Agfest Field Days 2023 in the paddock runs for three days from Thursday 4 to Saturday 6 May 2023. Gates open from 8am to 4pm each of the three days at 415 Oaks Road Carrick TAS.
Agfest then moves to the cloud on Saturday 6 to Friday 12 May where patrons can view the exhibitors 24/7 with no time restrictions.
