Agrotrend bases its foundation on celebrating all things agricultural and it is great to see the range of agricultural and lifestyle based businesses that have supported the event over the past 41 years.
“The Bundaberg Region is home to a large and productive region of southern Queensland. The primary economic driver of the commercial hubs of Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin is agriculture and horticulture making Agrotrend Bundaberg the ideal location for a field day event” said Ainsley Gatley, Event Manager.
There is a great range of activities on show for the public to enjoy including Robots, Drones and Sensors Future Farming Masterclasses, Australian Alpaca Show, Working Cattle Dog Displays, tractor demonstrations, Bundaberg Yesteryear Machinery Old Tractor Pull, Vintage and Veteran Vehicle Displays and the Agrotrend Strongman and Tractor Pull.
The third Bundaberg BBQ Battle expects to welcome a record 50 teams to battle it out. Walk through the competition and watch the teams as they take their BBQing very seriously. With teams from QLD, NSW and WA things will certainly heat up on this battle ground.
“This is a Rotary Club of Bundaberg initiative and for us it is about engaging with the agricultural industry and partnering with both Bundaberg Canegrowers and Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers ensures we are better meeting industry needs” said Ainsley.
Agrotrend will be held on the 27 and 28 April 2018 at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct with the Rotary Rodeo as the finale event on the Saturday night.
