Agrotrend Bundaberg highlights one of the great production regions

It’s your chance to get across the tastiest food and beverages in one of the most productive regions of Queensland at the Agrotrend Field Days in 2024

Everyone from the region will join visitors from around the country in attendance to enjoy the fares from one of the most productive regions of southern Queensland at Agrotrend Field Days held on the 20 and 21 September 2024

By attending the 47th Agrotrend Field Days held on Friday and Saturday 20 and 21 September 2024 you can celebrate all farm produce from drinks to food, as well as what’s on offer from the vast range of agricultural and lifestyle based businesses in the region.

The Bundaberg region is home to some of the largest and most productive farming enterprises in Queensland, with the primary drive coming from the economic and commercial hubs of Bundaberg, Childers and Gin Gin where well-known Beverages such as Bundaberg rum and other specialist drinks are produced.

Add to that sugarcane and fruit and vegetables, and it’s this great diversity of agriculture and horticulture from the surrounding region that makes Agrotrend Bundaberg the ideal location for a field day event.

There is a great range of activities on show for the public to enjoy including Robots, Drones and Sensors Future Farming Masterclasses, the Australian Alpaca Show, Working Cattle Dog Displays, tractor demonstrations, Bundaberg Yesteryear Machinery Old Tractor Pull, Vintage and Veteran Vehicle Displays and the Agrotrend Strongman and Tractor Pull.

The Bundaberg BBQ Battle expects to welcome more than 50 teams to battle it out. The public can get up close and walk through the competition and watch the teams as they take their BBQing very seriously. Entries are expected from teams across QLD as well as NSW and other states as things will certainly heat up on this battle ground.

“This is a Rotary Club of Bundaberg initiative and for us, it is about engaging with the agricultural industry and partnering with both Bundaberg Canegrowers and Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers ensures we are better meeting industry needs,” outlines event organiser Ainsley Gately.

An initiative of the Rotary Club Bundaberg, Agrotrend will be held on Friday and Saturday 20 and 21 September 2023 at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct with the Rotary Rodeo as the final event on Saturday night.
