ISOBUS control for agricultural applications is rapidly growing in popularity and Arag is an industry leader in the sector.
Arag already has a number of ISOBUS offerings for sprayer control and is now introducing its ISOBUS Seed Rate Controller.
Arag products are true ISOBUS, which means they have no control box with them, they simply plug into the rear of the tractor and the Controller screen appears on the tractor’s in-cab display.
ISOBUS is now leading the Precision AG industry and leaving behind the early concept of having a dedicated control console supplied with the product.
Kym Eldredge, CEO of Arag Australia, said he had been involved with the development of Arag products in the past such as the X20 Seed Rate Controller and had greatly enjoyed teaming up with the original engineer of the X20 to work on the new Arag ISOBUS Seed Rate Controller.
Mr Eldredge said the Arag system uses high torque brushless DC motors to offer smooth control from stopped to the maximum rpm of the seed metering rollers.
ISOBUS development has left behind the early concept of having a dedicated control console supplied with each product. Instead, with all the major brands now gaining ISOBUS certification, new products can be relied upon to plug in and work seamlessly.
Other Arag products include the Broad Acre Sprayer Controller using individual nozzles (Seletron), Standard Section Valves or Air-operated Solenoids. The company also offers a Spreader Control, a Multi Row Horticultural Sprayer Controller and a Precision Planter Controller.
