AusCut Global has stolen the march on residue crop trash handling with their 18.3m TurboTopper able to eclipse all other entries in the market
So far in 2024 the AusCut team has designed, built and rolled out two unique products that farmers did not have access to previously.
And as an added bonus, both models are home-grown and built from ideas that have come from experienced operators in our local marketplace.
The first shed-addition is the 18.3m TurboTopper. It takes top billing as the largest unit of its kind built globally, designed for crop residue control.
Covering a wider working width than any previous model, this unit is designed for croppers in broadacre to work in sync with growers running 18m controlled traffic systems, or operators that simply want to get the most out of each pass.
Apart from its unique working width, the 18.3m TurboTopper incorporates a design consisting of five equal-size pivoting cutting decks that provide unrivalled ground contour following.
Further in-paddock operation control is achieved with the addition of eight radial super single wheels into the design, adding management benefits when it comes to transport between jobs and on the road.
There is plenty of grunt added to the design, with a primary 287kW (390hp) gearbox system that drives the twin up-lift mulching blades. The result is the ideal unit for cutting and processing residue and overgrown pastures.
This unique 18m working width model adds another dimension to AusCut’s range of mowers and toppers.
Starting from small 1.5m Bravo slashers, the range goes through to 3.6m trailing and 3PL slashers and toppers. It also includes 5.1 to 6.5m AlphaCut batwing slashers and well established 9.3 and 12.3m TurboToppers.
As it currently stands, Auscut has slashers and toppers to suit almost every local cropping and grazing operation, no matter the farm operation size.
Auscut RollMax-XHD
The second heavy-duty product launched this year from AusCut is the 18.2m RollMax-XHD.
This model stands out with its construction aided by an extra-heavy-duty frame. Coupled up with a 1060mm diameter drum with 25mm wall thickness, it’s tough to its core.
This extra-heavy-duty roller is ideal for working rocks into limestone soil types, as it assists with crushing stones into the soil.
The RollMax-XHD is perfect choice for growers looking to grow lentils, beans, peas, lupins and hay crops in excessively rocky soil types.
The 18.2m RollMax-XHD further complements AusCut’s RollMax range while providing a model now built for extra-tough environments.
Other models in the RollMax range include RollMax smooth drum rollers with a 16mm drum thickness, along with RollMax residue crunchers.
Ideal for most soil types, the RollMax systems come in working widths of 4.7m, 6m, 12.2m, 15m and 18.2m. These sizes have been determined from in-paddock experience and as a result suit all farming operations.
