Australian plough champion Brett Loughridge is getting set to compete against the world’s best as preparations are being finalised for the 65th World Ploughing Championships being held from the 1 to 2 September at Kirchentellinsfurt; 30km south of Stuttgart in Germany.

Competitors from across the world will plough a half acre plot over three hours, stubble on day one and grass on day two. And they have to get it right, as there are many aspects they are judged on, including weed control, soil compactness and general appearance.

Competition ploughing tractors are highly specialised and due to Trelleborg’s superior quality TM600 radial tyres and customised wheel setups, Brett’s tractor will compete on a level playing field against very experienced European competitors.

With outstanding traction and self-cleaning characteristics, Trelleborg tyres will provide Brett with a great opportunity to reach the top spot in the competition.
The Australian ploughing team are grateful to Trelleborg Wheel Systems for sponsoring them for the fourth year and are pleased to be working with such an innovative company.
Trelleborg agricultural tyres are available across Australia in a range of sizes from 381 to 1371mm (15 to 54-inches) with specialist patterns suited to a diverse number of working conditions.
