CNH has signed an agreement to offer Bourgault branded seeding systems with a focus on its main markets in North America and Australia

CNH Industries is looking to accelerate its market share in precision seeding and air drill systems by forming a strategic alliance with Bourgault Industries, intended to open more sales prospects for its network of Case IH and New Holland dealers.
The agreement provides for the supply of co-branded Case IH and New Holland equipment manufactured by Bourgault and distributed through CNH’s dealer network in North America and Australia, with a path to other high-potential seeding markets.
Under this alliance, the product portfolio will span precision seeding air drill systems and high-capacity air carts, with advanced functions such as digital technology and control systems.
An important aspect of this strategic alliance with Bourgault is the acceleration of the path CNH is embracing with its 2030 strategy; this includes offering advanced seeding solutions to strengthen CNH’s position as a leading agricultural supplier in major global markets.
Both companies have been clear to point out that this alliance is a strategic commercial and manufacturing partnership rather than a financial merger or acquisition.
In essence, Bourgault will manufacture co-branded Case IH and New Holland seeding equipment and air carts for distribution through CNH’s dealer networks.
The current owner of Bourgault Industries, the Linamar Corporation that acquired the company in 2024, is clear that this alliance does not involve Linamar selling any shares of Bourgault to CNH.

Major expansion for Bourgault built seeders
Bourgault Industries already offers industry-leading seeding expertise, and the CNH alliance will position the brand as the leading manufacturer of seeding equipment backed by the global reach and strong dealer networks of Case IH and New Holland.
Through this collaboration, Bourgault will deliver further precision seeding expertise and technology innovations for growers to benefit from greater access to advanced equipment solutions.
Bill Glanville, Group President of Bourgault Industries Ltd points out, “This strategic commercial alliance with CNH creates more opportunities to expand Bourgault Industries’ reach and reflects our shared commitment to innovation, customer success, and creating greater value for farmers.
“CNH brings strong complementary capabilities and global reach, helping make Bourgault seeding technology available to more farmers in more markets. Through this alliance, Bourgault will continue to operate as an independent company and brand, building on more than 50 years of customer focus, agronomic leadership, and rapid innovation to deliver the intelligent seeding solutions farmers expect from Bourgault,” Bill Glanville expressed.
Gerrit Marx, Chief Executive Officer at CNH added, “Our customers expect us to deliver a strong, comprehensive portfolio with the right technology behind it. “By combining complementary strengths, this alliance enhances our ability to compete, creates new opportunities for our dealers, and enables us to invest more in the technologies shaping the future of agriculture, including precision technology, automation, and integrated farming solutions.”

Future model development
Bourgault indicated the company remains firmly committed to investing in research and development, agronomic research, and advanced technology innovation. By expanding market opportunities and increasing scale, the alliance with CNH strengthens Bourgault’s ability to accelerate innovation and deliver advanced seeding systems, digital technologies, and precision agriculture solutions.
Bourgault will continue to manufacture, market, and support Bourgault-branded products through its established dealer network. Bourgault remains dedicated to the values that have defined the company for more than 50 years: close customer relationships, industry-leading innovation, rigorous product testing, and a relentless focus on helping farmers succeed through its commitment to Pursuing Perfection.
Co-branded Case IH and New Holland seeding equipment manufactured by Bourgault will be introduced with Model Year 2028 products and will be available to order beginning in February 2027 through participating CNH dealer networks.
