Following the departure of Pete McCann his replacement is the current Managing Director for CNH Industrial Capital Aaron Bett
Case IH has announced the appointment of a new General Manager to lead the Australia/New Zealand teams.
Aaron Bett, current Managing Director for CNH Industrial Capital Australia/New Zealand, will take over from Pete McCann, who recently departed the business permanently.
Aaron joined CNH Industrial, Case IH’s parent company, six-and-a-half years ago and for more than three years has led CNH Industrial Capital ANZ, a business that has supported Australian farmers for more than 40 years and which Aaron helped launch into the New Zealand market in 2021.
Brandon Stannett, CNH Industrial Managing Director Australia/New Zealand, said Aaron had been around agriculture all his life and had the expertise, experience and vision to lead Case IH into an exciting future.
“Aaron understands the industry and has a real passion for agriculture and the machinery and technology that powers it. He also understands the needs and expectations of our customers and has established close working relationships with the Case IH dealer network,” Brandon outlined.
“It’s an exciting time for agriculture in this region, with a lot of opportunities, as well as the ongoing challenges around the likes of weather, trade relationships and supply chains. Aaron has the skills and experience to navigate a successful course for the brand into the future, and I know he’ll bring a lot to his new role,” Brandon added.
Aaron said it was an exciting opportunity and a chance for a new challenge, and he looked forward to working with the Case IH team on key priorities, new ideas and long-term strategies for the ongoing growth and evolution of the brand.
“I am passionate about the industry and where it’s going, and the Case IH brand, which we’ve used on my family property for more than 40 years, Aaron explained. I know how important machinery is to farmers and how much they rely on it for their livelihoods.
“Uptime, reliability, servicing and parts availability, are critical to ensuring machines are operational when they’re needed most and that will remain the priority for myself and my team.
“I also look forward to bringing some new ideas to the table and working with our dealers, and our customers, on further strengthening the key pillars of the brand and ensuring Case IH continues to deliver the innovation, consultation, efficiency and productivity for which it’s renowned,” Aaron concluded.
Aaron grew up on a farm in Temora, NSW, and worked in agribusiness banking for more than 10 years before joining CNH Industrial. Aaron will shift all his focus into the Case IH ANZ General Manager role from 4 April 2023.
Pete McCann rose in the ranks
Pete McCann was the Case IH Marketing Manager at the time of his appointment into the role of Brand Leader for Australia and New Zealand in 2018, taking over from Bruce Healy who was in the role since 2011 and then moved into a different area of the CNH Industrial business in early April 2018.
Michele Lombardi, Executive Managing Director CNH Industrial ANZ, made the announcement at the annual Case IH Dealer Conference in 2018, saying Pete McCann had the passion, knowledge and experience necessary for the role and the vision to take the company forward.
“As a member of the Case IH team for the past eight years, and marketing manager for two of those years, Pete has taken responsibility for raising the profile of the brand and ensuring the people around him are the very best in their respective fields.
“We’re excited about the ideas he brings to this role and where he sees Case IH Australia and New Zealand going in the future,” Mr Lombardi added.
Pete McCann said it was a great honour to be appointed to the role and he was looking forward to the challenge.
“Case IH has been such an iconic brand over such a long period of time, so to have the chance to become Brand Leader for this region is something very special. I appreciate the responsibility that comes with it but I know I have a great team of people around me who are as enthusiastic about the future as I am,” he said.
“I have big shoes to fill but have learned a lot from Bruce over the years and know that knowledge will help with the planning and decisions ahead,” Pete McCann added.
Pete McCann grew up on a farm near Dubbo NSW. Prior to joining Case IH in 2010, he worked for GPS-Ag. He took over as Brand Leader for Australia and New Zealand on 1 April 2018.
Pete McCann has already departed Case IH.
