Case IH Quadtrac 715 tractor takes out two red dot awards

Case IH flagship Quadtrac 715 has been recognised twice in the coveted 2025 Red Dot Design Awards

The Steiger 715 Quadtrac sits at flagship status within the Case IH tractor range with a base price around A$1.5 million

The Case IH Quadtrac 715 released as the most powerful tractor in the range, has taken out a red dot award in two categories.

The Case IH Quadtrac 715 was included in both the ‘Commercial Vehicles: Product Design’ and ‘Innovative Design’ categories. The jury panel of design professionals cited its fusion of aesthetics, ergonomics, and innovation as exemplary of world-class industrial design.

“This award recognises the work of our in-house design team, who skilfully melded strikingly purposeful design with practical style, while implementing advanced engineering such as an advanced Heavy-Duty Suspension,” outlined David Wilkie, Head of Industrial Design at CNH.

The design team at CNH set out to break new ground in agriculture by melding the Quadrac 715 body to offer better visibility all around

The Quadtrac 715, now the highest-powered Case IH tractor, has become a flagship model for the brand and an evolving part of the iconic line-up of track models first introduced in 1996, with the Quadtrac first to introduce a four-tracked wheel system for farm operations.

The Quadtrac 715 was the first model in the current release series to debut CNH’s advanced heavy-duty suspension system, engineered for improved operator comfort.

These latest Red Dot awards add to the 715 Quadtrac’s growing list of international accolades and highlight our commitment to delivering product excellence to farmers everywhere.

The Quadtrac 715 judged by the red Dot panel, has a rated power of 527kW (715hp) with a benchmark boost at 550kW (778hp) from its 16-litre FPT engine, featuring a two-stage turbocharger system with a separate cooling system, said to deliver 40% more torque response under load.

This engine runs a Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) that meets Tier 4B Final and Stage V emission regulations in the US and Europe without compromising engine performance, and does not require additional emission components such as Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) technology.

Meanwhile, slated for Australia where there are no emissions standard requirements for tractors, as prevalent in several third-world countries, we will receive the Quadtrac 715 with a 15.9-litre Tier 2B engine configuration, with an emissions level banned in the US and Europe since 1994.

The Red Top awards precede the updated machinery line of equipment for CNH’s two brands, New Holland and Case IH, which will be announced in July for the 2026 model year.

The refreshed model line-up is expected to come with higher price tags due to tariffs applied by the Trump administration in the US.
