Samasz is a Polish machinery brand specialising in innovative hay and silage machinery
With a Samasz GigaCUT set up, operators can mow swathes up to 9.4m

Victorian based Colac Agricultural began importing Samasz to Australia from Poland in 2016.

Samasz machines are designed to maximise quality and purity of feed, increase efficiency, and minimise operators’ running and maintenance costs. A winning combination that every farmer and contractor is looking for.

There is a Samasz mower to suit every need. Start off small with the drum mower range offering working widths ranging from 1.65 to 2.1 metres.

The Samasz Z2-780 and Z2-840 are centre delivery rakes with raking widths of 7.2 to 8.4m

From there it’s a step up to Samasz’s most popular range of KDT belt-drive or KDCT shaft-drive disc mowers. Priced competitively, with options of 6, 7 or 8 discs and a power requirement from 30kW (70hp), these are versatile machines to suit a broad rage of operations.

For contractors requiring the ultimate in efficiency, there is the MegaCUT or the GigaCUT able to mow up to 9.4 metres at a time. There is also the choice of steel-on-steel conditioning rollers, rubber conditioning rollers or a tine conditioner.

Pair the MegaCUT or the GigaCUT with the KDF front mower and have the ultimate mowing setup.

The new to the Australian line-up is the MegaCUT KDDR941 double-sided mower. The KDDR941 can be combined with the KDF 300 front mower to achieve a 9.4 metre cut while creating three swaths during the one pass.

Fresh off the water there is also a range of tedders and rakes to compliment the mower range. The tedders range in working width from 4.7 up to 8.9 metres. High purity of collected fodder is ensured by a close distance between the wheels and the tines for perfect adaptation to the ground.

Follow this up with a double rotor rake. The Z2-780 and Z2-840 are centre delivery rakes and the Tango 730 is a side delivery model. All have been designed with clean fodder, turf protection and ease of use at the forefront. A smaller model Z440 single rotor rake will also be available in time for harvest to begin.

Studies suggest basket/roller bar rake systems produce up to 75% cleaner fodder. The Twist 600 basket rake provides precise and clean material pick up. It allows you to work simultaneously with a baler or pick-up wagon and complete the rake and collect process in one go.
