Countrywide Industries is filling its order book at the Dubbo manufacturing centre
quickly for the 8-4 Series Triple flex tandem disc plough, to be delivered in time for
the 2022 season.
Before releasing the latest version of the 8-4 Series Triple flex tandem disc plough,
Countrywide Industries principal Rodney Carr listened to customer feedback on what
growers are looking for in a versatile disc plough to fit into their paddock preparation.
The result is the 8-4 Series 42 Triple flex tandem, an ideal for large-scale operations
with as it can be fitted with combinations of 28 to 120 discs across working widths from
3m to 13.28m (9.8 to 43.56ft).
This model is built to takes some heavy punishment with the 71cm (28-inch) discs at the
front made with 8mm thickness and weighing in at 170/210kg per disc.
The build of the main frame is manufactured from 20mm plated 200 x 100 x 9mm RHS,
laminated with 20mm plate to ensure it will stand up to hard wear.
The disc spacings, 22.9cm (9-in) for cutting out chemical resistant weeds.
Discs spacers are set at a reduced diameter to achieve additional wear, while also designed
for increased soil and trash flow.
The 8-4 Series 42 Triple flex tandem plough has been built to achieve the versality growers
now need to introduce into their farming operations.
Countrywide Industries could see an opportunity to build a plough that needed to be strong,
could work quickly and be truly effective in the paddock and there wasn’t anything in the marketplace.
The 56 to 76 plate are 4.45m wide folded down for transport, while the 80 to 96 are 5.97m wide.
This disc ploughs in the 8-4 Series 42 Triple flex tandem range are designed for a multitude of work including turning and mulching and breaking up hard pans in paddocks or in stubble management that requires a quick working.
Choose from either Aircraft or a Super-single truck tyre running off a 6 stud 75 square axle or an 8 stud 90mm axle with triple lip seals and dust covers.
Walking wheels are available on the centre frame, while there is equal side loading on all gang bearings.
The gang angles can be independently adjusted.
The gang bearing is low maintenance, greaseable and has a triple lip seal to keep dust out.
