A 3-day program in 2023 cements the Dowerin Machinery Field Days as the leading voice for industry and regional communities in Western Australia
The 2023 event will open another exciting year for the iconic Dowerin Machinery Field Days, with the activity platform extending over three days to include the second edition of a Perth based lunch – Bringing Dowerin downtown – on Tuesday 29 August.
The lunch initiative introduced in 2022 further enhances Dowerin’s role in supporting agricultural and community prosperity.
While the Dowerin Machinery Field Days has an important and unbreakable bond with its namesake location, the Bringing Dowerin downtown lunch shines a light on Australia’s vital agricultural industry and regional communities.
This initiative brings together a broader business audience by bringing together industry and political leaders to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Following the lunch, all roads lead to Dowerin for WA’s premier agricultural event on the last Wednesday and Thursday of August, the 30 and 31.
Every year the Wheatbelt town swells to a population of around 20,000 people over the two days, including usually a sold-out contingent of exhibitors.
Building on a long and proud history, the event unites the state’s agricultural industry, showcasing in a trade environment the products and services that support the operations of farmers and primary producers.
In 2022 agricultural related products and services represented 71% of the exhibitor offering.
Dowerin brings together the decision makers across the full supply chain, from agribusiness, to machinery, equipment, livestock, professional services, and providers of technologies.
This hub extends beyond business
As well as bringing together a wealth of professional and industry connections, Dowerin Machinery Field Days also brings together people. For many, the event is a chance to come together as a family from far and wide.
The exhibitor offering therefore extends to non-agricultural related products and services.
Visitors to the Dowerin Machinery Field Days are from a variety of age groups, with the two primary segments being families with children and 55+ adult couples.
They come from across Western Australia with more than 60% travelling from a regional area, and over a third of whom are primary producers.
Their areas of interest include products for sale, machinery, food and wine, livestock and animal displays, demonstrations and presentations, and education.
The 2023 event will introduce a new site map and rezoning of areas to better accommodate the needs of exhibitor and visitors.
Applications for exhibition sites open on Wednesday 8 March and close at 5pm AWST Friday 12 May 2023.
