East Gippsland expects a bumper event

Visitors to the East Gippsland field days can expect a wide range of products and services on offer – site bookings are now open

Well over 100 exhibitors have already booked for the 33th East Gippsland Field Days being held from the 17 to 18 of April 2020, at the Bairnsdale Aerodrome.

With over 350 exhibitor spaces and quality promotions, there are 8,000 to 10,000 visitors attracted to the event each year. Most of them on the lookout for new products, services and information.

East Gippsland has agricultural holdings of 750,000ha based around beef, wool, dairy, vegetables and cropping, as well as growth in emerging enterprises such as flower growing and viticulture.

The region is also home to Australia’s largest fishing fleet, a major timber industry producing 25% of Victoria’s hardwood output, as well as expanding manufacturing and retail sectors.

It is clear that East Gippsland has significant equipment, product and service needs, and so there are many good reasons to be an exhibitor.

For the visitor, the opportunity to see a vast range of products in one location presents itself but once a year, at the East Gippsland Field Days.

This iconic event on the East Gippsland calendar is proudly run by the Lindenow Lions Club, a sit has been since its inception in 1986.

All potential exhibitors are encouraged to apply now to avoid disappointment. Each year there are disappointed exhibitors who apply too late.

This year with many more exhibitors already booked in, the committee can’t emphasise this enough.

Any business or organisation interested in exhibiting can contact Event Manager Sue-Ellen Latham on 0419 767 944 or email info@egfielddays.com
