Since Ahern Australia became the distributor for the Faresin feed mixer wagon range the number of dealer locations has expanded rapidly for strong sales and service backing.
The trailed range offers one of the widest model selections in our local market with product carrying capacities from 9 to 46cu.m, and there is also a self-propelled range with load capacities from 12 to 40cu.m.
Faresin was already a leading brand in the European market, manufacturing quality designed and built feed mixers since 1988, before the company introduced their feed mixer range into our local market in 2002.
And once the models were introduced, Faresin soon realised that our local market requirements were different, and the feed mixer range needed some tweaks to better handle the feed types and heavier mixes common here.
This has led to the evolution of the Precision Feed (PF) model range, designed and developed with feedback from local operators.
The Faresin range of feed mixers and telehandlers is now being distributed nationally by Ahern Australia, a strong family business operating in the capital equipment market nationally since 1989.
The full range of Faresin agricultural products and spare parts are distributed from Ahern’s specialist agricultural division warehouse based in Dandenong Victoria, backed by a highly dedicated support team.
A national dealer network is well established to sell the full Faresin product range and provide after-market support, spare parts and attachments for new and existing models.
Ahern Australia offers a full 2-year warranty on all Faresin products.
Precision Feed PF Feed Mixers
The Faresin PF range of feed mixers are proven in their ability to provide the right ration for any full, partial or supplementary livestock feeding operation.
With three Series of feed mixers offering extensive models to choose from, the PF1, PF2 Plus and PF3 Plus Series models are able to provide operators with all the options and choices they require to suit any feed-out requirements.
Models in the Faresin trailed range include single, twin and triple auger variants, and can be ordered with feed carrying capacities from 9 to 46cu.m.
Standard features for the Australian market include heavy-duty wide axles with hi-floatation tyres, a bi-directional front cross conveyor with 1250mm elevator, and full electronic control managed from the tractor cab.
The quality in the build of Faresin trailed Feed Mixer can be seen in the long-wearing structural steel – S355 for the tub, chassis and augers, with the power clean blade made in extremely high wearing Durostat steel.
The mixing tub and auger design is the most efficient in the market and provides a continuous homogenous flow of product from start to finish of the ration.
The auger design allows the sweeper arm to run within millimetres of the wall and combines with the adjustable power blade at the bottom of the auger to ensure a complete clean-out on discharge.
The onboard IFG display ensures all rations are calculated accurately. Tungsten knives are standard, with manual or hydraulically operated counter knives also an option if required.
Faresin PF1 Series
This cost-effective Series of PF feed mixers is designed for restricted spaces and is ideal for smaller herd management.
There are six models to choose from in the PF1 Series, with a wide range of configurations and product capacities from 9 to 17cu.m.
A popular sized model in Series is the PF1.11, with a genuine 11cu.m product capacity. With a low unladen weight of 3,850kg and only 51 kW (70hp) PTO power required, this model fits perfectly into an operation where uniform rations are essential, as feed can be precisely cut and mixed without wastage.
Faresin PF2 Plus Series
The choice of body sizes in the PF2 Plus Series provides a wide range of configurations that can cater for any stock feeding requirements for medium to large-size herds.
The 12 twin auger models in this Series also have a containment ring added for extra high volume product mixing with capacities ranging from 12 to 30cu.m.
Electric over hydraulic controls are fitted as standard and ensure fast feeding times, while the onboard weighing system with an IFG display ensures all rations are calculated accurately.
Popular models in the PF2 Plus Series include the PF2.14 and PF2.20, with product capacities of 14 to 20cu.m and low PTO power requirements ranging from 50 to 66kW (68 to 90hp).
Faresin PF3 Plus Series
In the PF3 Plus Series, Faresin has developed the biggest volume models for large-scale livestock and busy feedlot operations, with capacities from 30 to 46cu.m and PTO power requirements from 100 to 150kW (136 to 205hp).
All models are fitted with heavy-duty two-speed gearboxes and are highly configurable with a range of discharge elevator size and position options available to suit specific feed-out requirements.
