This is the best chance for farmers to ensure their machinery and farm equipment orders are secured and will be delivered in time prior to the start of next season

This is the first major event on the field days calendar for 2022 where orders will be placed in time for upcoming season deliveries in a year where farmers will generate an estimated record $73 billion dollars for their farm produce

Farm World will lead the $1 billion Field days and show circuits into a new era as this main event for Victoria gets underway on Thursday 24 March 2022 and runs until Sunday 27 March 2022.

It is becoming very obvious that farm equipment is in short supply so growers and producers cannot leave it any long to order their goods, other than the main event at Farm World.

Of all the field day events in 2022, every exhibitor should make it their priority to be on show at Farm World in Warragul Vic to take orders in time for next season deliveries.

Farm World will be the first main event on the national calendar of field days and its up to everybody in the industry to make sure everything gets off to a good start.

Farm World was one of the very few field days that managed to hold an event in 2021, albeit a much reduced one due to COVOD-19 pandemic restrictions. It was still a hugely successful event for exhibitors.

What wasn’t known then, was the Delta strain was set to lockdown the country once again and all field days across the nation were cancelled or significantly impacted by continued insecurities as Delta sent us all into further lockdowns.

That is no longer the case for 2022. Event organisers, the Lardner Park management team have already planned a record-breaking event for attendance and exhibitor numbers as the farm industry has never been so busy.

Record prices for livestock will soon be backed-up with a near record harvest that will most likely attract a record income for growers due to high prices expected for grain on the world market.

Over $73 billion will be put into farmers’ pockets from season 2021-22 and much of that money will be spent at leading field day events such as Farm World, upgrading machinery and farm equipment inventory.

Farm World is widely regarded as Victoria’s premier regional agricultural event and attracts more than 55,000 visitors that includes some of the state’s top spending farm operations that will rush the over 800 exhibitors to ensure orders will arrive in time for the coming season.

Farm World will play host to all of regional Victorian farmers and many large-scale farm operations from intersate who will be negotiating machinery and farm equipment deliveries in time for the coming season work schedule

More about the special program Days

Thursday the 24 March will be a major rush, as it’s “Opening Day” and the gates will open for the public from 9am to 4pm. This day will have a community atmosphere as the venue will be shared with Farmers, host a celebration of Women in Agriculture, along with many Schools and Community groups in attendance.

Opening day will also be an opportunity for Farmers to get their orders for farm equipment in early, to avoid missing out on stock delivery in time for next season.

With all things agricultural at the top of the agenda for opening day, organisers expect a huge turn out from the farming community across the district, as well as the wider state and also from interstate to enjoy a day of talking to exhibitors and arranging their pick of the best products and models on display.

The Opening day will be a mostly unrestricted event after the successful rollout of the vaccine across the country. Organisers are thrilled to see up to 95% of the community embracing government mandates and getting the Jab, as this will make the Farm World outdoor event a very safe experience.

Thursday the 24 March will also see the return to Farm World of the – Telstra Women in Ag Luncheon, opening at 11am for a pre-event chat in the foyer of the Event Centre before entry and seating at 12pm to enjoy hospitality and refreshments during some inspiring presentations.

In its 10th year in 2022, this Luncheon has become a key feature of opening day at Farm World and celebrates the unique and valuable role Women play in Ag. This event also celebrates the role women play at Lardner Park, with Patron and ex-chair Angela Betheras and current Deputy Chair Angela Bayley, acting as a host to around 200 special guests who will enjoy a luncheon and presentations from some very inspiring women.

MC of the event will be several Telstra Regional Manager Guest speakers this year and will include some inspirational women and stories. Not to be missed.

Friday the 25 March from 9am to 4pm is a Farmers and Networking Day, that kicks off with the Commonwealth Bank Breakfast at 7am.

Friday will also be host day for the “Freestyle Kings” Motocross team, who will be performing three times a day across Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 10am, 12pm and 2pm daily.

Every kid on a farm has or wants a bike, including adults, and watching the Freestyle Kings will add some excitement to the program for families to enjoy. Kids will be advised not to try the stunts at home, and always be safety conscious and aware that the Freestyle Kings are expert entertainers, not everyday riders.

A very exciting event to be seen for the first time at Farm World 2022 (FW22) will be the addition of the “Australian Young Farmers Challenge” when the Victorian State Final will be held.

Hosted by the Royal Melbourne Show in a partnership between Melbourne Royal and Lardner Park – Farm World, this farming challenge event will be a key feature down in the AG and Livestock zone at FW22, sure to attract plenty of onlookers and great event for the patrons of FW22 to enjoy on Friday 25 March.

After the gates close to Patrons on Friday at 4pm, Farm World will host a VIP event for Farmers and Community Leaders at the Commonwealth Bank, called “Yarn on the Farm” it is set for a 4.30pm start and will run through to 7pm. Guests will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere to chat and tell a yarn as we reconnect as a community over some light refreshments.

In attendance are also Farm World partners, community leaders, Lardner Park strategic partners and the Board and Committee will all be in attendance, to enjoy some good old-fashioned country hospitality from the Warragul Lions club.
