For the first time, the awards for the best “Innovations in Agricultural Machinery” were also presented.
The service provided by an agricultural machinery dealer is an important factor in determining whether customers come back. This concept also lies at the heart of the AGRARTECHNIK Service Awards. More dealers than ever before applied for this award in 2016 but only a few were selected to win this prestigious prize, including three Fendt dealers.
“The entire Fendt sales team congratulates the winners of the AGRARTECHNIK Service Awards,” said
Andreas Loewel, Fendt Sales Manager for Germany. “We know what our sales partners have achieved during the past year. After all, 2016 was a challenging year for dealers and customers alike.
“This makes me all the more delighted that our dealers have been able to win the trust of customers by offering excellent service and great personal commitment.”
All the applicants had to complete a checklist with around 400 questions about all aspects of the company. Their responses were assessed by a jury consisting of trade journalists and business experts.
The jury team also visited the best applicants at their premises so that they could obtain a better overview.
The culmination of the award ceremony was the announcement of the national winner. Only one company from all the regional winners can become one of the elite group of national service champions.
This year, the national winner was RWZ-Agrartechnik Flammersfeld. Managing Director of the RWZ site, Paul Lantzerath, thanked his whole team for their strong performance. The award was the best present he could wish for as he was also celebrating his birthday at the gala evening.
The Audience Award “Innovations in Agricultural Machinery 2016” was also presented during the gala evening.
Readers of dlv media “traction”, “agarheute” and “AGRARTECHNIK” were asked to select their technology highlights from more than 50 machines in five categories.
Fendt was the only manufacturer to come out top in two categories:
- First place in the “Tractors” category: Fendt 500 Vario
- First place in the “Forage Harvesting Technology” category: Fendt Slicer
“Fendt stands for innovative tractor technology like no other German agricultural machinery
manufacturer. This makes it all the more pleasing that the new Fendt 500 Vario which conforms to the Tier 4 Final emissions standard has come out on top in the audience vote, even in the face of the big tracked tractors offered by our competitors,” said Fendt Marketing Director Roland Schmidt. “The fact that our Fendt Slicer disc mower came out on top is a fantastic confirmation of the Fendt full-line strategy.”
