The KIOTI MX Series of mini excavators includes three models ideal for small operations working in the 3.5 to 5.7-tonne category

KIOTI continues its thrust into compact handling with entry into the mini excavator market for the first time with MX Series compact excavators.
The launch continues the company’s compact construction equipment expansion following the introduction of its SL750 skid steer loaders and TL750 compact track loaders.
The MX Series of compact excavators includes three models, the MX350 and MX350 extended arm models in the 3.5-tonne class are powered by a 17kW (23hp) engine.

While the MX570 equipped to work in the 5.7-tonne class is powered by a 35kW (48hp) engine.
According to the company, MX Series machines come standard with an angle blade, thumb, auxiliary hydraulics and a mechanical quick coupler. The excavators also offer multi-function hydraulic systems designed to allow simultaneous machine movements.
KIOTI indicated it has released the MX Series following feedback from operators asking for equipment that is fitted with attachments and immediately ready for use.

By standardising the functions in these machines that operators use every day, KIOTI indicates it is delivering greater value, productivity, and a lower total cost of ownership for operators in a variety of jobbing.
The company said the excavators include reinforced structures, protected components and load-holding valves intended to support operation in demanding work environments.
The MX350 is a zero-tail swing design, while the MX350 extended arm and MX570 use a reduced-tail swing configuration.

KIOTI said the machines are intended for use by farmers, contractors, municipalities and large property owners.
The company said the first market to receive the MX Series will be North America with full back-up support through its current tractor dealer network and parts distribution system.
