Kubota dealers in box seat as Great Plains added to stock list

Great Plains models ran a gambit of demonstrations that had dealer’s filling the order books for the Great Plains Spartan 607, Yield Pro and Turbo-Max 4000 models – expect to see more of these in a paddock near you soon

Kubota dealers were let loose in Australia’s biggest candy store at their most memorable Dealer conference this decade.

The candy on offer included an extensive model line from USA seeding and tillage equipment specialist Great Plains. This range was already gathering momentum for incumbent distributor PFG Australia and is now expected to fly to withering heights under Kubota dealer’s care.

It’s an unlucky twist for PFG Australia as the Great Plains’ badge is still being managed in all other markets by sitting distributors. Kubota Tractor Australia is in fact the first Kubota subsidiary globally to include Great Plains cultivation and drilling equipment as part of its product offering.

President and Representative Director of Kubota Corporation, Masatoshi Kimata outlined Kubota’s plans to further invest in the Australasian market, as well as expand the ‘Global Major Brand Kubota’ initiative through the company’s 140 local dealers.

“Git Along, Little Dogies” – this sub compact from Kubota’s BX80 series has great appeal as it can be fitted with every implement known to mankind

A launch pad for Kubota Tractor Australia’s expanding product range, the Dealer conference included the debut of the latest addition to the Kubota product family with new machines including the next generation BX80 series sub compact tractors, the Z400 zero turn mower series and Kubota’s T90 lawn tractor series.

Other new product releases include KX033 excavators, SVL75 and SSV65 skid steer loaders, KJ series generators, RTZ series Rotary Tillers and SC1300C and SC1400C seeding combinations.

While the latest offering from Kubota’s long-standing partnership with German-based hay and silage machinery manufacturer Krone, includes forage and harvesting equipment, such as the ECR400 mower, trailed KWT1300 tedder and the ZX430GD loader wagon.

Many attendees took the opportunity to test drive Kubota’s new models under expert supervision from the company’s product managers. Lars Pasedag, Senior Product Manager for Kubota Tractors Australia, said he was pleased with the influx of product orders that were placed at the Dealer conference, and to have the opportunity to showcase Kubota’s latest product range in-person with international and local guests alike.

“Our expanding product offering solidifies Kubota’s standing as Australia’s leading supplier of agriculture, construction and power equipment, and illustrates the innovative direction Kubota continues to strive towards. “The Dealer Conference provides an unparalleled visitor experience, as well as the opportunity for guests to witness some big product reveals. The level of product orders we have received surpassed our expectations, which means that more customers across Australia will have access to our latest market launches.”
