Self propelled Mil-Stak SP/3150 tops bale handlers

The self-propelled Milstak SP/3150 is able to stack up to 120 bales an hour – this high volume machine saves on time and manpower

This is your first exclusive look at the self-propelled Mil-Stak SP/3150. Tenpack P/L will soon offer this model to local hay producers. It runs off a Cummins 224kW (305hp) engine through an Allison 3000RDS six-speed transmission.

It picks up bales in the same direction the baler places them in the paddock by clamping the sides of the bale, eliminating the need to drive cross-wise through the paddock or slide bales on the ground into position.

The bale clamp gets the bales off the ground quickly, reducing the amount of unwanted waste caused by sliding the bales on the ground. It is fully adjustable for 3×3, 3×4, and 4×4 bales and the spring loaded bumper has multiple settings for different bale lengths. Rolling forks stabilise the bales on the bed and ensure a tight, uniform stack.
