Director Paul Upton explains, “We have a wealth of experience in centre pivot and lateral move irrigators with installations and dealers in every state.”
Current export opportunities include India and Pakistan and the USA where it is working with a pivot dealer in Texas.
“And they are all designed and built in our Corowa plant, shipped to farm sites and installed by our crew and commissioned on site,” Paul adds.
“For instance, we have just completed the installation of a complete 850-metre-long lateral move irrigator for a corporate client at Narrandera NSW.
“We have used corrosion resistant high strength aluminium piping and the machine incorporates a channel, or ditch fed water supply pumping system.
“It also includes a GPS alignment system so that the machine accurately and consistently tracks the supply channel and remains aligned along its length.
“Our corporate client is using the machine for irrigated pasture production to support its cattle and lamb fattening operation.
“At 850 metres in length, we know that this is one of the largest lateral move irrigators ever manufactured in Australia,” Paul notes.
Upton Agricultural Technology also has either centre pivot or lateral move solutions for any size of enterprise in horticulture, wastewater dispersal or intensive cropping operations.
“Our focus is on using the latest innovations in GPS, smart phone applications and constant operating data collection from operating systems,” Paul adds.
