Vigolo mulchers prove popular for heavy duty workloads

Vigolo TST High Body Tractor
Vigolo mulchers are built with heavy-duty components for our local market where many operators expect their machines to mulch everything, they throw at them ¬- shown here the TST-300 high body works across 3m matched to tractor power of 59 to 132kW (80 to 180hp)

Vigolo has settled firmly in a market leading position with a reputation for “indestructible agricultural machinery” – with arguably the highest level of quality workmanship available.

These models already exceed expectations and enjoy a reputation as a trusted name in many leading world markets and are now available here through the Armour Group.

Now available to the local market are a wide range of low body mulchers for prunings and woody materials, to high body pasture topping mulchers.

Vigolo Mulchers are built in Italy with a strong emphasis on quality. In addition, they are also manufactured to Armour Group specifications for local application. This is what makes them the ideal mulcher for our heavier expectation working conditions.

According to Armour Group product specialist, Justin Dunlop, a high-power low friction gearbox and heavy-duty rotor bearings are some of the extra engineering touches that make Vigolo mulchers number one in the world market.

“Mulchers are superior to any other machine for topping due to getting better regrowth from the fine mulch. Our customers are continually impressed by the massive diameter rotor and long flails that generate a market-leading blade tip speed of up to 70 metres/second.”

“This allows the mulcher to effectively lift vegetation and ensures thorough mulching with a fine cut finish,” Mr Dunlop explained.

Vigolo’s rugged construction and heavy-duty rotor bearings guarantee operational strength and reliability, allowing them to outlast other models.

“The high body range is fitted standard with double skin body, cast blade lugs and pin, ‘Y’ flails with centre blade, side skids and a large diameter roller. This reduces the likelihood of scalping on bumpy ground, and a rear-wheel option is available if preferred,” Mr Dunlop said.
