Vin Rowe Farm Machinery Kubota franchise sold in family divestment

Well known distributor retailer Vin Rowe Farm machinery has sold their Kubota dealership to Peninsula Kubota

Joint Peninsula Kubota directors Brad Fisher and Joe Otto have secured a deal to take over the Vin Rowe Farm machinery Kubota dealership operating from Endeavour Street Warragul VIC

Peninsula Kubota owners Joe Otto and Brad Fisher have struck a deal to take over the long-standing Vin Rowe Farm machinery Kubota franchise in what will be a major expansion for the dealership that currently operates from a dealership at Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsular VIC.

Operating from the current Warragul VIC yard, Peninsula Kubota will have the full range of Kubota and Krone branded product range, including wheel loaders and skid steers as new additions to the previous product lines on offer.

The buyout of the Vin Rowe Kubota franchise gives Peninsula Kubota dealership coverage of a very popular region for the Kubota badge, stretching from the Mornington Peninsular all the way up to the rolling hills of west Gippsland in lucrative dairy farm country.

Peninsula Kubota have indicated they are dedicated to supporting local farmers with their expert knowledge of Kubota equipment, and eager to offer the same exceptional customer service provided by Vin Rowe Farm Machinery since 1961.

With 25 years of combined experience in agricultural machinery and farming, Joe Otto and Brad Fisher have the credentials to expand the model offerings and said they were looking forward to bringing their skills to the Warragul VIC Kubota franchise.

Meanwhile, the farm machinery distribution division of Vin Rowe Farm Machinery with over 20 well known international badges will continue under the guidance of current managing director Graham Rowe, the son of the original business instigator, Vin Rowe. See more about history of the company here.

“Like Graham, we’re passionate about making sure Australian farmers have the right equipment and support to do their job well,” Joe Otto indicated. “This transaction will bring real, tangible benefits for customers, better access to parts, more service technicians on the ground, and improved availability of Kubota and Krone equipment across the region.”

“For customers of both Peninsula Kubota and Vin Rowe Farm Machinery, this means stronger backup, faster support and deeper product expertise, while maintaining the local knowledge they already trust.”

Peninsula Kubota places strong value on family-based culture and continuity. Brad Fisher’s son, Jackson Fisher, who joined the business 12 months ago, will be involved in supporting the continued growth of the organisation.

“Having the next generation involved helps reinforce the family values and culture that underpin our business,” Joe Otto added. “It’s about long-term commitment to our customers, our staff and the communities we operate in.”

Peninsula Kubota is expected to take over operation of the existing yard on 1 May 2026.

Vin Rowe Farm Machinery managing director Graham Rowe said he was pleased with the agreement and confident in the future of the Warragul dealership, run under Peninsula Kubota management.

“I’m very pleased that Vin Rowe customers will continue to be supported by leaders who genuinely understand Kubota products and farming,” Graham Rowe confirmed. “That depth of knowledge will ensure a seamless transition for both customers and staff, and I wish Joe and Brad every success.”
